Why did you throw the match on Aerial Ace??? YOU HAD IT! Dude, you were playing so smart til then!! Heracross' Focus Punch while you knew he'd use Full Restore, you using Noctowl's Air Slash high critical hit ratio to finish off Snorlax. Then you have the perfect final round, Fire vs. Grass and you use Aerial Ace?? What happened?! I literally choked on my beer. Two Flamethrowers and you'd have won!!
+Pokèmon Card opener 674 No, he really isn't, Red could fight every other champion and most likely win with his balanced and powerful team. Where as ash has tried and failed every single league he's fought in. Red is obviously much better than ash.
+Pokèmon Card opener 674 stfu you are just a kid that watches the anime and think he is good because he is the main character but can't win any league in the regions. at least red became champion and had fully evolved Pokemon.
im not having a go at you but if you had quilava use flamethrower then flamethrower it would of defeated venasaur, although maybe not as red is superior to a
Ash should have won. On that first turn with Venusaur, using Aerial Ace was a huge mistake. You should have used Flamethrower on both turns. Quilava is a special attacker, not physical. Flamethrower is more powerful than Aerial Ace. And Quilava gets STAB on Flamethrower. Therefore, if you'd used Flamethrower on both turns, Ash would have won. And that is why I consider him the real winner.
With how stupid ash is, do you really think he would have won? (Well I know you do). Have you seen x and y? Ash sends out froakie in a battle that calls for pikachu, and sends out pikachu in a battle that calls for froakie. 6 generations and he STIIL doesn't understand type advantages. And don't tell me it's to bond with his pokemon, if anything he's doing the exact opposite by letting his pokemon take unnecessary damage because of his stupidity. And this isn't the only example, there are tons more examples from x and y alone.
Your argument would be relevant if this video sought to mimic Ash's style of battling. But it didn't. You can see that whoever made this video switched in a pokemon type advantage several times. This video's primary purpose is to see if Ash could theoretically defeat Red with his regional teams, not to mimic Ash's style of battling.
The person who made this video is not an accurate representative of Ash. He used Ash's Pokemon, yes, but he does not represent Ash in any other way. How could he? Red is an NPC, programmed by Game Freak, while "Ash" is the player. The player lost to Red because he made a few questionable decisions and because his Pokemon were not leveled up enough. Let me say this again. The player lost to Red. The player was using Ash's Pokemon, but the player is not Ash. Therefore you are judging Ash based on a player who was using his Pokemon. It's like watching a play, and someone does a really bad job of playing the part of George Washington. Would it be fair to judge the real George Washington based on this play? Of course not! I hope I made that easier to understand for you.
No point in even comparing these two because everyone knows Ash is just the shitty version of Red they made for the anime. Therefor Red would always be the winner.
Completly false , you see even though Ash's pokemon were lower leveled , and even though whoever played as Ash threw the match , he still came to the end . At the end if he used flamethrower twice he would've won , but he used aerial ace instead so he wouldn't defeat him . It all depends on who is playing . If i was playing as Ash i would've won 100% with maybe 2 casualties
Said Smajic Um not true at all. Red still had Espion left. Aside from that Ash had the player advantage, as in he saw what Red was going to use and selected the appropriate counter. Besides I was comparing the literal Ash with the literal Red. Comparing them in that light its obvious Red is the superior between the two. Frankly speaking Ash's pokemon shouldn't have even been that level if they properly translated them from the anime to the game. You would know this because Ash loses to all the Elite 4 members he faces, usually very badly and thats even when he has a type advantage usually.
Enuma Elish First he has Lapras instead of Espeon . He used all six Pokemon and Venusaur was his last . Second , he didn't see what was Red going to use . Did you even watch the battle ? After one Pokemon is defeated it just says "Trainer Red sent out Lapras " for example. Third Red is in a game which means everything depends on the player. You're supposed to beat the Elite 4 and become the champion . Fourth as i said earlier Ash's pokemon were lower-leveled and unevolved , then at the end "Ash" threw the match by making Quilava use Aerial Ace instead of Flamethrower . Fifth play Pokemon Ash Gray according to that Ash is the champion too Show less
Said Smajic I find it too coincidental that he always got the type advantage. If he didn't see it then he is either way too good a guessing or he knew ahead of time what would be used in what order. As I said he shouldn't have had Lapris Red's team has Espeon not Lapris... why did he need 2 water types? A game is built to have distinct story. Red is meant to become the champion thats how the story is, thats how its supposed to be. Ash never even beat a single Elite 4 member. Ash Gray is a fan made game so no it doesn't count because its unofficial. How do you know it even had Flamethrower as a move? Might not make much sense for it not to have it but its certainly possible.
+HeavyDonkeyKong What?..... Red in Origins literally defeats his Rival, manages to capture almost every Pokemon. He actually gets somewhere with Professor Oak, Captures Mewtwo, singlehandely destroys Team Rocket which Ash hasn't even managed in 8 Seasons, defeats the Elite 4 which Ash hasn't managed to do EVER. Not to mention he liberated Lavender Town. Red > Ash
Red is awesome and all but ash isn't getting much credit. He lost a a lot of battles but he did win a lot of EM as well. Also in the movies he did manage I save the world multiple times. There is a reason why ho-oh flew over him
Though i haven't watched the series in a long time, from memory Doesn't Ashe's Pikachu get Blasted by Zekrom in episode 1, seriously injuring Pikachu and causing him to overflow with electricity forcing him to discharge it all, making him incapable of using any moves that require electricity, which would knock out thunderbolt and volt tackle Also whats more entertaining level 5 Snivy versing level 100 Pikachu who uses 1 move and absolutely destroy Snivy or having an interesting battle between 2 Pokémon, around the same level, I guess that's why they don't use the leveling series in the original series.
Joshua Refol He does get a reset every season my hypothesis is that pokemon being a pretty long serie not the same people watches it. Kids that were born after the first, second, third and any season would get lost and wouldn´t know what happened before so every season of pokemon must be seen as the start of a new game with no previous data known. Like that kids think of it as a new show or a different story with a totally new outlook.
I got a couple of things to comment: 1: Great battle :D 2: I think these battles are made to let Red win, because if I were Ash, I would have used Flamethrower in the first place because Quilava gets STAB on it. 3: Heracross is a beast!
man I hate it when Red is not the character for the first pokemon series they made. that would of made this battle gold vs red the best episode ever saw. honestly Idk what the hell they were thinking when they made stupid ash in for the series.
well I know that ash cares for his pokemons but in battles he excessively cares for his Pokemons which is often not good for a Pokemon trainer. In the other hand, red is a Pokemon master and he knows what he is doing. He trained his Pokemon sooooo excellently that his Pokemons can take care of themselves. So 10000K cheers for red
Pikachu fainted!! Me: Welp, looks like Ash loses. That's all he ever battles with so he loses. It's over for h- why is there so much time left in the video???
While it is rather uncertain if Red went to every region he has been to Johto, Unova, and Alola which are confirmed by their stories and post games. Red fled to Mt. Silver after discovering Johto, appeared in Unova's PWT, and is a battle Legend in Alola. He may have also been to Kalos because Blue was there, which was reference when the player is told of a man who left saying "Smell ya later." But yes, Red has also traveled to different regions so the argument Ash travels the world while Red stays put in Kanto isn't good to begin with thanks to the evidence the games provide.
Robaws it is arguable that the Red you see there is the same as the games. However that's simply referred to as "Generations Red" which is a separate Red among the many Reds in the dimension theory. Game Red can be different from Origins Red and Generations Red. In fact the Red in the modern games is said to not be the original, but instead a Red in another world. This is simply an outsider's comment on the existence of Red.
22neptun I totally agree! Raichu are far more superior to Pikachu! I mean, it's its evolved form, for crying out loud! Every time I capture a Pikachu, I find/purchase a Thunder Stone right away! :D
......................................................................................................................... I....... I..... I thought Ash would win...........
Well I think it's the same red completed pokedex and became champion and caught mewtwo and the three birds but ash went to all regions to date caught Pokemon from everyone beat almost all gym so far made a friend with every single legendary so far so I think that ash is a bit more successful
+Mr.Simple Variety And yet Ash still struggles to beat his rival, whereas Blue is Red's bitch. P.S.: You can't just base Red off of Origins and use that as a comparison to Ash. He gets much further in the manga. Ash is still a scrub compared to Red
Everyone gets to such high levels to beat red! I constantly ran to beat him around lvl 55-60. worked just fine for me. Bring along a couple hyper potions. Either way well done with Ash's actual team, his choices really weren't that great, hah no idea how he made it so far with such poor team choices.
It's true he is one of the best trainers, but please not treat him like a god and a somewhat trainer, he represents YOU and he will always be like that
WTF don't blame Ash. The reason of loss was because the player used aerial ace at the last pokemon instead of using flame thrower and since Red used a full restore to heal his pokemon during battle, Ash should have used a healing item too to make it even.
μ's推し the battle was designed to be as accurate as possible. And since items don't really exist in the anime Ash couldn't use any of them. Even still the fact he's made mistakes before makes the final move make sense. The anime isn't an exact copy of the games, so saying Ash should use items is like saying Red should have his legendaries in the battle, which would be inaccurate to the games and rather unfair to begin with. This is just to let you know, I'm not attempting to hate on you or anything, it's simply the facts I can say.
I know. Since Ash can't beat Elite 4 members in the anime, his pokemon would probably around level 60. And people still complain because I didn't let Ash win :-/
This was just suppose to show Red's "superiority"... either the way guys, we can't say who's superior, Red or Ash, since there was no actual Official Battle between them... But anyway, Ash was suppose to win here, but the guy just did Aerial Ace first than Flamethrower to show the "superiority" of Red.
Because I felt like Ash didn't deserve to win. I played perfectly until that moment and Ash is notorious for making bad decisions, so I think it's more realistic that way.
I swear in some weird universe, Ash and Red are brothers and after losing the Johto league, Ash learned from Oak that Red is on Mt. Silver doing some special training and hoped Ash will be strong enough to find him so hw left Moltress, Zapdos, and Articuno as obstacles and tests to challenge Ash to see if he's ready for Red's lesson and after losing to his older brother Ash gets a lecture from Red and Red leaves for Sinnoh to research more Pokémon for Oak and eventually during Galatic Battle Ash meets Red and they have a rematch near the end of Sinnoh League Victors.
kaneki ken yeah and one of the some reasons is than get a lapras, a powerfull pokemon that don't need evolutions to be incredible! I can say that he is available to destroy legendary pokemon, i destroy moltres level 50 with a lapras level 48, but zapdos fuck me with lapras level 58, and this is so sad!
+Eli Smith Hey whilst we are at it, let's make Totodile a Croconaw and his Noctowl not shiny :P my guess is that it was a mistake on his end, I thought I'd correct it
Then why does it lose to loads of Pokemon? If it was level 100 it would have most likely not lost any battles from the point it reached about level 75.
it doesn't just lose to any Pokemon, this supposedly level 100 Pokemon has lost to what I would assume to be a level 5 starter Pokemon... I think it was 2nd or 3rd gen I forget which one.
Don't forget Pikachu was ill for that battle and couldn't use electric moves. Although really that's still no excuse to lose to a level 5....I've always seen it as pikachus level is somehow reset for each region.
***** you are right the evolution is important because if he had the 3rd evolution of the last pokemon he would have had earth power or eruption I forgot what move it was but he would have had it
okay okay guys here's how I think it goes manga red then game red then xyz ash then sinnoh ash then origins red then johto ash then unova ash and finally kantor ash
Don't worry, you're not the first person who asked me this. It's just Heartgold/Soulsilver, but I used an AR-code to change the overworld sprite. The rest is video-editing.
+22neptun HG/SS was really good if you ask me. The best feelings of the old games with the new tech and graphics. I hope they do another Kanto remake on whatever the next Nintendo device is.
Good battle man.I'm just gonna say that Red made a huge mistake with his Lapras. So you know how Heracross used Focus Punch on Lapras? Well, instead up interrupting the Focus Punch,Red uses a Full Restore on his Lapras, right?Well,Focus Punch one shot Lapras and Red had just wasted a Full Restore. That scene was pretty funny.
Dude I wont complain about that airial slash but I will ask you why didn't you just use some medicine on your quilava just like Reds full restore ? He is easy t be defeated c'mon now always losing because of this shit bro 😞
Clan SoaB cause Ash never used any of those before, he always healed after the battles, but who ever was playing as Ash in this was using some Poor move choices here, i would of easily won with those Pokemon
Okay look for those that want to bash Red for winning lets look at Ash in Gen 2. His Team was rather balanced but lacked the fact they were never fully evolved save for Noctowl. In Gen 2 Ash was still depending on the Advice of Misty and Brock when battling. Ash was still a noob making noob choices that made Misty and Brock face palm. In Gen 2 Ash was not that great of a trainer. Red however was the Kanto Champion. He defeated Team Rocket and their boss. Lot of you are saying he took them down for good when in fact he didn't. Ethan (Gold) took them down for good when they tried to rebuild themselves. Red after becoming Champion spent 3 years training on Mt. Silver while he tried to catch Mew. Gen 2 Ash will lose to Red every time. Red at that point was way more experienced than Ash. Now if we had Gen 6 Ash vs Red then that would be a match worth watching. Gen 6 is Ash in boss mode with the strongest team he's ever had (out of Pokemon he caught in that region alone. I'm well aware of the fact he could mix and match what he caught in other regions with his current Gen 6 team and make an even better team.) So there you have it.
I remeber when played this game. It brings back good memories of getting all the pokemon there were. Wen i first beat red i was so excited. But o well who cares
He doesnt use it, duh. If he used Mewtwo he would have to get rid of a good pokemon since his whole team is op. Red is too good he doesnt need to use Mewtwo on anyone. Except stupid potion spammer IF YOU DIDNT KNOW. His name is Ethan aka Gold.
It's funny, because most of the match, Red had the level advantage and he used a Full Restore once (on his Lapras) and it was still that close. Ash is definitely better, but I still like Red more!
Alex Barreto i like heracross but that fucking attack have to be a joking, is so effective versus the ice but lapras could resist a little more i know for own experience
Can we talk a moment about the fact that a Level 82 Pikachu with max IVs and 255 EVs into Attack with an Adamant (+ ATK) nature does a MAXIMUM of 68 damage to a Level 88 Pikachu with max IVs and 255 EVs into Defense with a Bold (+ DEF) Nature? At the MOST it's around the 140 mark with a critical hit. Assuming that all other EVs are 0 a critical hit is literally the only way that much damage is happening, and only at max damage. Makes your battle look pretty ridiculous when the first move does an illegal amount of damage.
I like how normal effectiveness moves take off around 60% of Ash's teams health and yet his super effective hits take like 20% max from Red. The level difference isn't huge so you're clearly favouring Red with those moves.
Of course, cause Red and Ash's skill gap is major. Red is far the superior of Ash... and as I like to point out Ash' Pikachu doesn't know that move it used, so using it on Ash' Pikachu is just trying to give Ash a little balance against Red.
Volt Tackle!
Not very effective.
takes 4/5 of health.
I was like WTF...
It's super effective! *Takes like 20 hp*
WHAT?!
+Everything Kara's Flowers Ma too
WHY ARE ALL OF ASH'S POKEMON AT A LOWER LEVEL THAN RED'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
because red is like 10000x more experienced than ash mad kid
And that's why u evolve your pokemon kids!
That was a point i've completly disagreed with him. Why the fuck dont you evolve your Pokemon ._.
hot
He wanted to make ash's team .-.
a b Well i meant actually Ash in the Anime
Is that a pickup line you use on every woman, 'cause if it is STEP UP YOUR GAME BRUH
"Quilava used Aerial Ace!"
wait what
+Ryan___Ryan my thoughts exactly
Same reaction
why? its ash's quilava after all..
It has Aerial ace.. check the wiki.
Plus it's a legal move for quilava so why with that reaction?
not aerial ice, its why used THAT, FLAMETHOWER WOULD KILL IT
yea.. no stab.. but didn't react the way you guys did.
Bro red wins just by looking at ash
red is forever tryng to find mew.mew Ash find all legndary love his pokon is stupid but sometime genius
Did you have a seizure? What was that sentence trying to say?
+FrankTheTank1007 LOL
+arashi well ass ketchup meet legendarys is non-canon who old are you 9? almost the fanbase know this
Exposzheho Red has that Fire
Ash could maybe have a chance if he used his Sinnoh team:
Pikachu
Infernape
Torrterra
Staraptor
Buizel
Gliscor
Yet again, Ash is a klutz. But I think Sinnoh is his best team. Hoenn was good, too.
Pikachu
Swellow
Sceptile
Corpish
Torkoal
Glalie
Either Ash's Sinnoh team or his Hoenn team could maybe stand a chance.
Actually nope. Red's pikachu took out all of the elites 4 pokemon (Lance) pokemon with 1 attack. Red's pikachu alone should of won this match.
Shonen Hikada He should have borrowed Geodude from Brock
***** It was hailing, meaning there'd be ice. The ice would melt from the heat of the electricity, which would soak Geodude, and since Electricity totally works on Ground when wet, then it'd be GG anyway.
Not in this game
***** Or Red could switch to any other of his Pokemon and rape the Geodude, assuming Pikachu's got nothing to hit it with.
Red > Brock > Misty > Ash's Mom> Ash
Ash break every logic :D
It's just like the anime!
yep exactly
Just Wait Till Ash Wins The Kalos League Cause It's Confirmed He Makes it to the finals
Vado jaja saludos soy sub :D
i still think red would have destroyed ash in just a few minutes, if this was
actually ash fighting
+The Ultimate Gamer 1 bro how is he dumb just for saying he's opinion?
+The Ultimate Gamer 1 just because ash has been to more regions then red does not mean ash wins automatically
+Stone1232 lol nice joke. I laughed really hard at that. I also laughed at how pathetic your life is. 😂
+Daniel Evans you can't call my life pathetic if u have no idea what my life is like. Idiot.
+Stone1232 sorry, all I hear is butt hurt replies by you.😂
0:57 "it's not very effective"
And almost all of his health is gone, and "it's not very effective"
It doesnt work tht way.. (but yes, thts pokemon logic)
LOL yes, this is how it works. A lvl 100 Blastoise's Surf is still not effective on a lvl 5 Bulbasaur, yet it still ends up fainting the Bulbasaur.
Thats what i meant!
Sorry man. I didn't see your message.
Oh its ok no worries :)
Anyone should have seen that coming. Red was originally designed to be the ultimate trainer, Ash doesn't stand a chance.
+Gary Fourstar Ash is a fuckin joke.
+Area51ZeroX It's a little sad to watch ash, I think. He could be so much better.
+Gary Fourstar I agree. Red is supreme.
+wizzzy craft Pokemon red and blue was made way before the anime.
Correcting ya mate.
2 flamethowers would've killed vensaur he lost on purpose.
Not from a quilava. My level 100 typhlosion can't even 2 shot that venusuar sometimes.
Venusaur one of strongest grass type
+Preston Turner liar just look at Venusaur hp after 1 aerial ace and 1 flamethrower by 76 lvl quilava. That guy just want make red wining every time.
giorgos karathas Same I said besides it's not hard beating npc
+E Gaming Yeah but, not using the right moves is such an ash move. Ash did not disappoint.
Why not use flamethrower twice in the end?
lol thought the same thing.
ikr..
Aerial ace has no stab D:
Yeah, Ash would've won.
because ash (realistically) has never been the smartest trainer so in the real situation considering the shows he probably wouldnt have tried to just use the same move twice

Everyone complaining about him not using 2 flamethrowers. Does ash ever i mean EVER make sense when making moves?
Like half the time he ignores type advantage completely so yea
good point. Ash uses a Pikachu against a ground type 70 percent of the time
Ineed Music
all the time
when his pikachu defeats onix with the sprinklers.
THATS FUCKING RAIN DANCE, AND IT DEALS NO DAMAGE
Pikachu used Thunder!
It’s super-effecttive against Brock’s Onix- Wait a minute.
Only reason why Ash's pokemon were this high lvl in this game was to get to Red, in all honesty Ash probably could not handle Mt. Silver with the pokemon he had in the anime.
They actually could ash defeated entei , mewtwo and articuno red only defeated mewtwo ash is supposed to be stronger
skytheman lim If Ash is so strong, then why on Arceus' planet does he keep losing/having a standstill to.with the first Pokemon in the region?
skytheman lim Ash never defeated Mewtwo nor Entei, watch the movies again and tell me when they were ever defeated there....
Ash did defeat Articuno though, but you're again wrong, because Red did get all the three legendary birds as well as Mewtwo.
Nicolas Frasson WHATTTT!!!!! WHAT TYPE OF SORCERY IS THIS ASH WAS KILLED BY MEWTWO AND MEW!!!!!!!! Although ash could have caughten every legendary but he is a hero he wants to become a pokemon master not a bitch thats too much of a sissy to call in legendaries and get one-hit K.O's.
Nicolas Frasson Ash defeated Dragonite, Darkrai, Latios, and Articuno. so technically you are wrong
If you think about it, Ash's "dumb choices" might've been very strategic.. and also have very good reasons behind it...
how to make red talk: throw a pokeball at any of his pokemon.
@Dexter Mason Bruh did you really just make 3 alt accounts to advertise a fucking website on a 4 year old comment.
Man, that first bit with Pikachu was so realistic and epic :O
I'm an Ash fan but everyone knows that Red would win.
the edgiest edgelord that has ever edged
HAH! nice joke
Nice battle man, I agree that the aerial ace at the end was in-character, Ash almost never opens with a would be finishing move, Specially if we asume this is his Johto era persona, it had some nice twists and your choices mirrored the AI.
And are those movesets the ones he has in the anime? if so, kudos for you man, It takes balls to water gun a Charizard.
I know what people are saying...but let me point out what I see:
1. Ash didnt have Quilava in Johto, he (finally) evolved it in Shinnoh.
2. Ash wouldn't use flamethrower right off the bat becuase hes a mediocre trainer.
4. Don't think of what you would do, think of what Ash would do.
4. THE FUCK BAYLEEF o.o
5.Only thing Ash has even won outside of gyms, was the Orangle Islands, which was not even canon, and the Battle Frontier because the plot demands it. Ash cant even win a pokemon league, nor catch all the pokemon. Red is a far better trainer. We all know about what Red has done, so I won't explain that.
and 6. SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK BAYLEEF O.O
Well technically Heart Gold and Soul Silver are in Sinnoh since it has the graphics and it came out after Sinnoh .
To be fair with Ash, he does have good qualities over Red.
While Game Red is quiet and cold, Ash is very sociable and is very kind towards other people and Pokemon. He do have a big a heart, really, enough to sacrifice himself even.
But, I do agree, in terms of Skill, Red is better.
NataliaNeeSama if you watch the new movie about red you would see red has a good personality and isn't very quiet like he is in the games
His name is not "Ash" he is Satoshi. Named after Satoshi Tajiri who created Pokemon.
*****
So, you call Misty "Kasumi" and Sabrina "Natsume"?
Oh, you also call Squirtle "Zenigame" and Charmander "Hitokage"?
If no, sorry, I don't see any problem calling Satoshi "Ash".
But ash is stupid, remember?
Exactly
+dragontamer1012 nope ash is better
+Pokèmon Card opener 674 No, he really isn't, Red could fight every other champion and most likely win with his balanced and powerful team. Where as ash has tried and failed every single league he's fought in. Red is obviously much better than ash.

Wow, I love the detail that went into the team, down to a shiny Noctowl.
im not having a go at you but if you had quilava use flamethrower then flamethrower it would of defeated venasaur, although maybe not as red is superior to a
*ash
+TheLegendaryPhoenix X ash would definitely win. but he is so bias hahaha.
yeah
First he wanna see who was the fastest by using aerial Ace but I agree if he known that he was the fastest and used flamethrower Quilava
would have win
The first Pikachu battle was just insane to me.
Something out of the actual anime lol
The ash of pikachu can be pretty overpowered
Red caught mewtwo, articuno, momtress, zapdos and had a mega charizard... Of course he is better
tim smith what's a momtress HA HA
tim smith yo mom
ASH TRAVELED TO ALL THE OTHER POKEMON GENERATIONS
@SizzorX YZ he traveled all regions in generations so its not speculation.
SizzorX YZ and Unova because of the Pokemon World Tournament
Can't wait to see Red's Pokemon Team in Sun/Moon xD I really wanna beat him once more
You mean to survive him again?
But he didn't meaning Red is better since he has a brain that works properly
TL;DR
That heracross doing the focus punch was a great strategy
Said Smajic Well that is that he got Reds team wrong since he has Espion instead of Lapris.
Fifth play Pokemon Ash Gray according to that Ash is the champion too
Show less
Said Smajic I find it too coincidental that he always got the type advantage. If he didn't see it then he is either way too good a guessing or he knew ahead of time what would be used in what order. As I said he shouldn't have had Lapris Red's team has Espeon not Lapris... why did he need 2 water types? A game is built to have distinct story. Red is meant to become the champion thats how the story is, thats how its supposed to be. Ash never even beat a single Elite 4 member. Ash Gray is a fan made game so no it doesn't count because its unofficial. How do you know it even had Flamethrower as a move? Might not make much sense for it not to have it but its certainly possible.
make another edit for 3,000,000 views!
It hit 3 million views?!? O_O Wow, that happened a lot faster than I expected.
Thanks for telling me!
Yeah and please; WIN this time!!!
Fyffe gift gtgsfdcvd. But

Mr. PACK
Red > Ash
+Holly Travers not by a lot, but yes.
Although Ash is defintly better thqn origins red imo.
Red > Ash
Ash would have won if he would have just used Flamethrower instead of Aerial Ace.
Black Mage Ash has doen plenty of stuff that could amtch that. The difference: Red's team is atrociously unbalanced.
Mang Red>Ash>Origins Red.
You don't know what 'unbalanced' means. Red's Team was the most balanced in Johto. That's why he was a challenge, moron.
to everyone complaining about him using Aerial Ace, I have one thing to say:
Rhydon, gotta aim for the horn.
i don't think ash's pikachu had volt tackle in johto...
Ash's entire team was beaten handily by Entei. Red wouldn't even waste his time on a minor legendary like Entei.
Red is awesome and all but ash isn't getting much credit. He lost a a lot of battles but he did win a lot of EM as well. Also in the movies he did manage I save the world multiple times. There is a reason why ho-oh flew over him
thatsright hes the chosen one
yeah but Red is the strongest Pokemon Trainer in the entire pokemon Franchise not even Gold could defeat Red
even though he did in pokemon gold, silver, crystal X3
RE D i defeated red lol
Ryan Studer lol in the game yes you can what was the your teams you used against him i only my charizard in every fight
Im glad Ash lost You know why? Because His high lvl pikachu Or what ever lvl it is can loose to a lvl 5 snivy.
Ya, thats... Pretty fucked up... A special nature???
Though i haven't watched the series in a long time,
from memory
Doesn't Ashe's Pikachu get Blasted by Zekrom in episode 1, seriously injuring Pikachu and causing him to overflow with electricity forcing him to discharge it all, making him incapable of using any moves that require electricity, which would knock out thunderbolt and volt tackle
Also whats more entertaining
level 5 Snivy versing level 100 Pikachu who uses 1 move and absolutely destroy Snivy
or having an interesting battle between 2 Pokémon, around the same level,
I guess that's why they don't use the leveling series in the original series.
Im pretty sure that Ash gets reset every season/region like he just got his Pikachu
***** Ya but in the fight pikachu can't do anything.
I got a couple of things to comment:
1: Great battle :D
2: I think these battles are made to let Red win, because if I were Ash, I would have used Flamethrower in the first place because Quilava gets STAB on it.
3: Heracross is a beast!
man I hate it when Red is not the character for the first pokemon series they made. that would of made this battle gold vs red the best episode ever saw. honestly Idk what the hell they were thinking when they made stupid ash in for the series.
the original character is Red so i agree to you. i dont know why the developers of the anime make Red as Ass the Ass -_-
Pokemon Origins!
Sadly only 4 episodes...
well I know that ash cares for his pokemons but in battles he excessively cares for his Pokemons which is often not good for a Pokemon trainer. In the other hand, red is a Pokemon master and he knows what he is doing. He trained his Pokemon sooooo excellently that his Pokemons can take care of themselves. So 10000K cheers for red
GOD!! THIS MUSIC THEME IS CLIMAX to the FULLEST, loven' it.
Pikachu fainted!!
Me: Welp, looks like Ash loses. That's all he ever battles with so he loses. It's over for h- why is there so much time left in the video???
Red is so god damn cooler than Ash
atleast ash traveled to the other regions!
@@marcwashington6114 So did Red
While it is rather uncertain if Red went to every region he has been to Johto, Unova, and Alola which are confirmed by their stories and post games. Red fled to Mt. Silver after discovering Johto, appeared in Unova's PWT, and is a battle Legend in Alola. He may have also been to Kalos because Blue was there, which was reference when the player is told of a man who left saying "Smell ya later." But yes, Red has also traveled to different regions so the argument Ash travels the world while Red stays put in Kanto isn't good to begin with thanks to the evidence the games provide.
In Pokémon Generations episode 1 it shows Red travelling to all the regions
Robaws it is arguable that the Red you see there is the same as the games. However that's simply referred to as "Generations Red" which is a separate Red among the many Reds in the dimension theory. Game Red can be different from Origins Red and Generations Red. In fact the Red in the modern games is said to not be the original, but instead a Red in another world. This is simply an outsider's comment on the existence of Red.
I was waiting for the focus sash to kick in on the quilava. you disappoint me OP.
so quilava can do aerial ace?
why would ash use that if only he used flamethrower twice he would have won
Because Ash isn't that smart.
The ending was trash
Why wouldn't you use flamethrower first. The STAB would've been more then enough to help
Hell, you even got the Shiny Noctowl! Good job on getting the proper teams!
+Son Goku I know, right!? That's pretty impressive, huh!?
Son Goku Patrick Petty Thanks, it's always great when people also notice the small things that I put into these videos =)
22neptun
No problem! Oh, by the way; which do you prefer, Pikachu or Raichu? And be honest! :)
Patrick Petty Raichu. Pikachu is way to overhyped in my opinion, so I'm going with the underdog ;-)
22neptun
I totally agree! Raichu are far more superior to Pikachu! I mean, it's its evolved form, for crying out loud! Every time I capture a Pikachu, I find/purchase a Thunder Stone right away! :D
WTF why didn't you just use Flamethrower twice??
I love this battle theme remix I need this in my life where can I download it?k
Try searching for "Trainer Red Epic Remix".
+22neptun ok thanks
+22neptun no try searching tranier red heart gold soul silver
Use the youtube to mp3 converter.
ok guys I already have the song now you can stop replying lol thanks
6:24 Nice use of Focus Punch there. In fact, Heracross's OP in general.
Ash finally uses type advantage in Johto.
......................................................................................................................... I....... I..... I thought Ash would win...........
Red is like the more successful ash
True
Extremely true
Well I think it's the same red completed pokedex and became champion and caught mewtwo and the three birds but ash went to all regions to date caught Pokemon from everyone beat almost all gym so far made a friend with every single legendary so far so I think that ash is a bit more successful
+Mr.Simple Variety And yet Ash still struggles to beat his rival, whereas Blue is Red's bitch. P.S.: You can't just base Red off of Origins and use that as a comparison to Ash. He gets much further in the manga. Ash is still a scrub compared to Red
+Mr.Simple Variety not
Ash would never win against Red.
He can.
CherryAddictz not
Ash's Pikachu has onlz 32/192 HPs left and the message says "Naah, it's not very effective..."
Omg! It's crazy! Ash has never won the league and has such high level pokemon.
Orange league has only 4 badges ok! I doesn't count
I know this is old but the Orange islands are officially considered a leauge so it counts
If Red was the Main trainer in the series. He would win everytime cause he actually evolves his pokemon and actually tries to catch them all.
Red>Pokemon Champion>Ash no one can argue this logic!
well technically every Pokemon player after elite four then ash
+SSJ “zenkai mikey” Mikey well technically Red isn't a Pokemon player in Origins or Gold/Silver or Black/White 🤓🤓🤓
Red is been created because of Ash😊
+mark laloy No.
Ash was created because of Red.Red came before Ash,without Red,Ash would have never existed. Do your recherche.
It's true he is one of the best trainers, but please not treat him like a god and a somewhat trainer, he represents YOU and he will always be like that
Never put your faith on ten year olds (Ash)
then who do we put faith in? their both ten :3
potatoe steven Actually Red was eleven when he started training. He is now sixteen. Unlike Ash he actually ages.
My Starter Team For Ash (First Evs) : Gen 1 Charmender Gen 2 Totodile Gen 3 Treecko Gen 4 Turtuwig Gen 5 Tepig Gen 6 Chespin
queeeee no tuvo a chespin los que tuvo fueron y los mas fuertes flogera
WTF don't blame Ash. The reason of loss was because the player used aerial ace at the last pokemon instead of using flame thrower and since Red used a full restore to heal his pokemon during battle, Ash should have used a healing item too to make it even.
It's True Ash Is A Actual Good Trainer In Kalos He Makes It to the finals which is confirmed
+Derp/// MLG And With Ash-Greninja In A Final unknown form with a flare shruiken He Can Wreck
μ's推し the battle was designed to be as accurate as possible.
Red is better tho
U were overly generous with Ash's pokemon's levels
I know. Since Ash can't beat Elite 4 members in the anime, his pokemon would probably around level 60. And people still complain because I didn't let Ash win :-/
Wait, he trained his pokemon for 6 generations, and his pokemon still doesn't lv up, man, how lazy is he?!
22neptun elite four doesn't exist
THE SANS GUARDIAN,GUARDIAN OF THE SANS! Yes they do.
This was just suppose to show Red's "superiority"... either the way guys, we can't say who's superior, Red or Ash, since there was no actual Official Battle between them... But anyway, Ash was suppose to win here, but the guy just did Aerial Ace first than Flamethrower to show the "superiority" of Red.
seriously a totodile from lvl 76
cuz ash's pokemon never evolve just like he never ages
he didn't gave he's pokemon an everstone lol
and feraligtar is much stronger than totodile
Is it soul silver? Or heartgold?
It's Soul Silver
22neptun Hey while you are here, why did you do Aerial Ace instead of a fire attack ?
Because I felt like Ash didn't deserve to win. I played perfectly until that moment and Ash is notorious for making bad decisions, so I think it's more realistic that way.
22neptun Ok ;-)
So you did it on purpose :)
Yes. And as you can see, I got a lot of hate for that.
I swear in some weird universe, Ash and Red are brothers and after losing the Johto league, Ash learned from Oak that Red is on Mt. Silver doing some special training and hoped Ash will be strong enough to find him so hw left Moltress, Zapdos, and Articuno as obstacles and tests to challenge Ash to see if he's ready for Red's lesson and after losing to his older brother Ash gets a lecture from Red and Red leaves for Sinnoh to research more Pokémon for Oak and eventually during Galatic Battle Ash meets Red and they have a rematch near the end of Sinnoh League Victors.
red is more powerful than ash
kaneki ken yeah and one of the some reasons is than get a lapras, a powerfull pokemon that don't need evolutions to be incredible! I can say that he is available to destroy legendary pokemon, i destroy moltres level 50 with a lapras level 48, but zapdos fuck me with lapras level 58, and this is so sad!
Ash's Bayleef is female
why must you nitpick
+Eli Smith Hey whilst we are at it, let's make Totodile a Croconaw and his Noctowl not shiny :P my guess is that it was a mistake on his end, I thought I'd correct it
+Luca Munro His Noctowl is shiny...
+The Official ItsSuperTurtle (Cake) Hence the sarcasm
So after Red was hive-minded, fought Ethan (Formely Gold) and became a sensational champion, did he arrived to the Anime dimension?
Why did you use aeriel ace. Spongebob - WHY!?!?
It was to purposely let red win
It's Ash dude he's a noob :P
What is the Music at 2:12 and where can I find it?
It's called "Trainer Red Epic Remix" by DJTheFishhead, you can find it here on TH-cam.
"Trainer Red Epic Remix". You Tube.
Guys why quilava not evolved into his final form
You forgot that ash's pikachu is lvl 100
Then why does it lose to loads of Pokemon? If it was level 100 it would have most likely not lost any battles from the point it reached about level 75.
it doesn't just lose to any Pokemon, this supposedly level 100 Pokemon has lost to what I would assume to be a level 5 starter Pokemon... I think it was 2nd or 3rd gen I forget which one.
It's still a Pikachu don't get too excited
Oh so a level 100 Pikachu lost to a level 5 Snivy..
Don't forget Pikachu was ill for that battle and couldn't use electric moves. Although really that's still no excuse to lose to a level 5....I've always seen it as pikachus level is somehow reset for each region.
Ash will never beat red because he has no third stage evolution
Evolution stage doesn't always matter
SHUT UP , Ash is way better than red idiot. so what he doesn't have them to the 3rd stage evolution
***** you are right the evolution is important because if he had the 3rd evolution of the last pokemon he would have had earth power or eruption I forgot what move it was but he would have had it
True but I still like ash better
Lionel Martinez if you think about it he's really not
9:45 I never noticed how high Venusuar looked until now.
okay okay guys here's how I think it goes manga red then game red then xyz ash then sinnoh ash then origins red then johto ash then unova ash and finally kantor ash
+RPGMaster wait wait no kanto before unova yeah now we got the best Pokemon
sorry for my ignorance but what Pokemon game is this.
Don't worry, you're not the first person who asked me this. It's just Heartgold/Soulsilver, but I used an AR-code to change the overworld sprite. The rest is video-editing.
Nice
+22neptun HG/SS was really good if you ask me. The best feelings of the old games with the new tech and graphics. I hope they do another Kanto remake on whatever the next Nintendo device is.
SpecialJ11 Yeah, I really like Gen 4 in general. I just prefer the pokemon sprites over the blurry mess that we got in Gen 5.
22neptun Yeah.
In what edition does it plays?
Diamant?
HeartGold or SoulSilver
Someone does Know what version is?
Israel Cristiano Angeli It's a slightly modified version of HeartGold/SoulSilver.
How is it modified?
Socrates The Plumber The overworld sprite was changed from Ethan/Gold to Red. And everything else in this video was done by video-editing.
heartgold
+22neptun I love heartgold Awwww yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaa
Heracross destroying, he was the MVP of the team
the whole time I was rooting for red
Amazing, but Red is always the best!
How gold, brendan, lucas, hibelt have far more achievements then red ever had
RED could have used Mewtwo and won at the beginning. He also had Zapdos, Articuno and Moltress.
Dude I wont complain about that airial slash but I will ask you why didn't you just use some medicine on your quilava just like Reds full restore ? He is easy t be defeated c'mon now always losing because of this shit bro 😞
Clan SoaB When did Ash ever use medicine in battle in the anime? If I'm going to represent Ash in this fight, it might as well be accurate.
alright you got me but I wanted to say that you deserved to win
22neptun You can´t represent Satoshi/Ash in a whole way... Because we can´t play so much with the battle field as Satoshi does.
Clan SoaB cause Ash never used any of those before, he always healed after the battles, but who ever was playing as Ash in this was using some Poor move choices here, i would of easily won with those Pokemon
22neptun I think it would have been better if you used medicine , if you are in the game, use it, if Red was in the anime, he wouldn't.
ash is trASH.
NEON C fu## you
Okay look for those that want to bash Red for winning lets look at Ash in Gen 2.
I'm well aware of the fact he could mix and match what he caught in other regions with his current Gen 6 team and make an even better team.)
So there you have it.
I have to say Ashs pikachu has to at the very least be level 100
Both of them should be level 100 all of their pokemon I mean
Wrong a level 100 Pikachu would not lose to a around level 5 Snivy which it has.
*In that case, Ash's level 100 Pikachu lost to a level 5 Snivy?*
+Shadow every season I think it gets reset back to level 5
+Shadow true when that happened i was like 'that didn't make any sense'
without hail ash would have won lmao
depends like how he does in the newest seasons
+Slimynikbag red sucks.
+Emir Katan no red is the champion in the anime plus I could beat ash too😛😋
+Emir Katan ash sucks
My point was that in a wifi battle he would have won because it was a hail cause by the location the battle took place in.
I remeber when played this game. It brings back good memories of getting all the pokemon there were. Wen i first beat red i was so excited. But o well who cares
red also has a mewtwo.......
Great battle. but Ash is still a lame-ass trainer.
I hate you and ash is a great trainer!!!
+Steve Fanning You hate me? very funny :P I don't care.
Steve Fanning ash is horrible. maybe his kalos team is ok
Genwenner.
Steve Fanning Ash is the worst trainer
It's funny, because most of the match, Red had the level advantage and he used a Full Restore once (on his Lapras) and it was still that close. Ash is definitely better, but I still like Red more!
heracross:D
A BOSS
Alex Barreto i like heracross but that fucking attack have to be a joking, is so effective versus the ice but lapras could resist a little more i know for own experience
Quilava loses the battle for not use Flamethrower the first time.
If i am correct, ash's pikachu learns volt tackle in hoenn, not johto.
i wonder why so many dislikes ? It's actually a good vidéo, very entertaining. it might make a good episode of the pokemon Tv show.
I think due to the fact that Red keep on winning even when there were cases where the person playing as Satoshi could have won but choose to throw it.
And to think if his Quilava used flamethrower twice he would've won
Red's team:
Charizard
Dragonite
Mewtwo
Moltres
Ditto
Raichu
Ash's team:
Pikachu
Rattata
Metapod
Pidgeotto
Weedle
Zubat
Tyler Newton yep
so accurate
and ash wins
Who uses water gun on a level 84 Charizard? EVOLVE YOUR POKEMON AND GET HYDRO PUMP!
Hmmm. Ash's Cyndaquil doesn't evolve until Sinnoh..
True but it was still the same pokemon from his Johto team though.
Levels and stats
