Watching the replay, you can see that despite not familiar with the game mechanics and money management, Rissa was really showing her attention to details and making very few mistakes. I hope you try again without solely depending on a guide. The confusion and struggle as the plot progresses is part of the intrigue for this game. As far as i know, everyone loses multiple times, and it really fun to see people experience the story on their own.

＊今回のゲームがよく分からなかった、という方へ。
実はこのゲームをyoutube上で【Papers, Please】と調べると、10分ぐらいの4kのミニ映画が出てきます。
これがすごい面白い。かつ、日本語字幕も付けれるので見てみるとNerissaの言っていた「ジョージ」や「国境警備」の部分が、更に面白くなるかもしれません。
