I know it’s queso but DT looked strong in the early mid game. Couple of them sprinkled in harassing here and there forces out limited scans,turrets and ravens. Keeps them from MULEing and you get some map control just because they are scared of dts sharking around.
BGMWSS Idea: Drop into your opponents base but every time you tell them it's coming about 10 seconds before it hits. After 3 or 4 drops start lying about where it's coming from. (you can double bluff too)
Great concepts, Protoss definitely underutilizes proxy bases given things like recall and warp-in. With that in mind, wrt the first game at least, I think you should make more of an effort to take normal bases to keep up the ruse.
@@Wwillswords It's underused, and if no one does it, it can have a big advantage. Especially in certain situations like ongoing back-and-forth focusing on contesting a single base or choke- when both players are tunnelvisioning, that's when you should take a proxy.
I like how protos has to micro like a god and terrain can just sit and camp only looking at army every so often to move slightly forward and sieging up again... 😂

So true. It's why I don't play pvp. You can have a real intelligent game at my level because no one has any idea what the theory behind anything is and no one has real builds so it just leads to stupid cheesy games with tons of illegal plays.

man i miss watchin WhiteRa play. he was my beacon of protoss hope in beta/WoL retail release i did so well during beta as protoss going 82-11 in 1v1 ranked and retail somewhere around 250-66 or 68, been so long. now i can't play worth sweet fuck all arthritis catches up i played wc3 roc/tft competitively their entire release, pre-"esports" had to organize our own tournaments, raise the prizepool etc before blizz put in their online tournaments which just gave different icons on your acct with a separate win/loss ratio in profile but there was practically a few big tournaments like WCG qualified for WCG when i was 15 but back then gaming was not considered a way of "income." fast forward 9-10 yrs later, they started to have gaming classes in highschools and even colleges dedicated to gaming careers. as well as the inclusion of live streaming. i peaked during wc3 and first sc2 then just downhill from there :(

Really feels like Toss is underpowered. Total denial of natural and u had your exp up at the same time. Even if it’s a proxy you had a large advantage and it gets completely negated cuz of Terran bio ball..

Proxy has so much more risk and often gets caught out and ruined.

Any build with more than one gateway proxied or a cybercore proxied has like legit a 20% win rate. These things almost never work.
