It's a great song, very fitting for the Rugby World Cup. It was adapted from 'I vow to thee my country', the melody of which is from Jupiter, The Planets by Gustav Holst
Wow! I was just going to say that! Plus that it originated at the England-hosted RWC in 1991, sung by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

This song makes me cry, I remember how in 1995 this song gave me such hope, maybe one day this world could be united and as one. But now all I see is a world being torn apart and division is rife. If only we could be a World in Union.

I was 11 on my first day of secondary school and I was delighted I can still listen that before the 2015 rugby world cup began. I remember that. Wales here we come.

love this song so much but it hurts me to listen to it as me and my enemy had a nasty fall out and and every night we would sat against the gate and we took it to turns to sing parts of the song and we would look up at the stars and point out wich one was ours and it was the same one all the time
