Ayaan’s words have such mighty weight, I can almost feel the pull of gravity every time I listen to or read them. That she has been dismissed over the years is indeed an indictment on the dysfunction , prevalence of unreason/abandonment of reason, and overall instinct towards self-destruction we are witnessing in today’s Western culture. I mostly see this manifest in denial….where who I would have thought was amongst the most logical, reasonable, and responsible people I know (and mostly men I must say) will go out their way to avoid being informed on the big things and discussing them bc it’s at that point, it becomes real and that is uncomfortable. Ayaan is a unique human being. Every word she utters is truth & gold. We could learn a tremendous amount from her.
This is happening because in 1963 the supreme courts banned the teaching of the Bible for giving the youths moral values and respect and learn to love God before of any material things
I agree. However, we can't legislate morality & not all laws are just.
There is (& we need) an increase in membership to non-denominational Churches.
We need the basics in education or we need $ follows the child to force bad schools to get better due to market forces.
