The Bike manual mentions that the angle of the headlights can be adjusted. I'll try to lower the angle of the headlamps in my xPulse 200 and see if that will make things any better. In my experience, the high beam light of this headlamp needs to throw light lower down towards the road and not into the sky (which it will do when you sit on the bike and more so with a pillion behind you. Without any load, the high beam goes straight and not into the sky).
Done that... LEDs are good until and unless it's completely dark...Cross paths with a yellow beam and you'll be blinded instantly.. This is not only with Xpulse, same was with my Duke 390 as well.. In a nutshell, They need to put more powerful leds in headlamps or need to provide blubs 😁
Hello there. I'm planning to buy a bike. I'm currently on yamaha fzs. My choices are Dominar 400 or xpulse 4v. Xpulse 4v won't launch in kerala for like the next 2 months I guess. With the current petrol price hike' i'm not going for new rides. Recently i'm interested in offroad as well, changed to dual purpose tyres in my fzs. So, i need a bike for offroads as well (Not heavy offroads). Need comfort in riding and pillions as well. Pillion comfort is necessary (for my mother). Which one should i take, the old xpulse or Dominar?
sir please suggest me whether i should go for apache 200 rtr 4v or hero xpulse ? i would be using mostly for daily commuting purpose. my concern for xpulse is tubed tyre which can be a headache if gets punctured. on the other hand suspension setup for xpulse is a cream for indian roads. Concern for apache is its reliability .. pls suggest
I have the budget for Himalayan and Xpulse 200. But the service costs and the constant problems I read online are pushing me more towards the Xpulse. What would be your suggestion? I love the look and sound of Himalayan but the Xpulse seems like a better practical and post purchase service bike. Your thoughts please. Thanks 🙂
If you're looking for a serious highway muncher, there's no doubt himlayan is the bike. You can do 120 all day without any hesitation. Himalayan hits the trails supergood as well..one down side for me is, it's heavy. On the other hand if you're looking to do trails and go through forests in supereasy and peppy manner, go for xpulse.. You can definitely tour on it but you have to do 95~100 on highways. Mileage is is better, thd bike is superlight and easy to maneuver. Service dort cheap.. Personally ,I'll prefer xpulse over himalayan as it fits my criteria of travellijg and riding needs.. Himalayan is s great bike though, bs6 variant has improved a lot thoug!
If you're tight on budget, xpulse is the best option.. Otherwise go with himalayan , adv 390 or 310gs All of them are great machines.. You can also look at adv 250 as well
Was doubting whether to go for it or not because I feel that it makes less power for a 200cc but then you are right it makes enough power to ride on Indian roads
Dude i have done hilly region riding on my Pulsar 150 with luggage and pillion. My bike was effortlessly pulling my weight 65kgs + pillion 95kgs + 20kgs luggage. Its just you have to be a rider then bike doesn't matter much.
For people who have doubt on a 200cc engine. Please read my experience: i have done hilly region riding on my Pulsar 150 with luggage and pillion. My bike was effortlessly pulling my weight 65kgs + pillion 95kgs + 20kgs luggage. It's just you have to be a good rider then bike's power doesn't matter much.
bro , Do you have any rust formation on brake dics and exhaust manifold? I bought xpulse about three months back and I am having these issues. so sad for quality.
Its not underpowered and there is no other bs6 motorcycle India in the same category to compare with. So which factor made you to feel it is underpowered?
For the price, this is the best one can have.. After riding it through twisties for straigt 200kms, I can say that next xpulse should use a bigger engine as it struggles on the slopes.
@@MotoZoomer it's not underpowered ,its the only motorbike in its class. Xpulse is doing 100% as a 200cc dual sport which is also economical in terms of mileage. We can tweak it though, towards being a comfortable commuter or a tourer or a pure off roader. Cool 😎. Unlike long strokes, we have to ring it near max for xpulse, which may feel like engine is struggling, but its meant to be revved right.. Still if people compare it with other adv s performance, now imagine the impact made by a small xpulse in the adv category as well 😎.
Did I say it's underpowered? To reach those highee revs you need to drop down to 1st gear then run it up... as soon as you finish a bend on 3rd ,almost on the red line and switch to 4th , you have to slow down and when you twist it again, you feel the need. Ride it to the himalayas and you'll feel the lack of power. Coming to the trails, I've done almost 300kms of trail on this one...it surpassed all my expectations but again, when you're in tricky situations and just need that extra punch, it ain't there... Again , I am not saying it's underpowered but a bigger motor on the next one would be much appreciated..

@@MotoZoomer Yes i understand what you meant. My comment was based on high speed safety in India. Where anyone anything might come in your bike's way. Imagine doing 150+kmph speeds and you happen to encounter morons on the roads and potholes what will one do? Hence i meant that we want costly imported bikes but what we need is practical bikes which will be good on our pockets too 😀

On point review, no shitt talks. Really informative at the same time. What about tyre sealants for prevention of punctures? Please update
Not a fan of sealants.. learn to fix punctures or changing tube, shall be great for long tours.
