Great video and explanations. Probably the best video showing all the steps. Really really good! I just wish that bunny hop tool was a bit cheaper... like 225 would make it much easier to swallow.
Thanks for all the kind words! I do understand the price can be pretty high for most people’s budget. I think the reason they have it so high is partly the cost of building it with the metals and the time it takes to make compared to their easier to mass produce wooden ramps. Most of the tips in this video can be practiced without a trainer but the trainer just helps make learning a bit faster
Thanks! I was definitely trying to make use of SLO-mo to make it easier to understand what was happening. I was so stoked on 21” the garage bunny has definitely helped me progress🙌
Thanks for the great video. Keep up the great work! Can you please let me know where you bought that plastic chain ring guard to decouple your chain? Thank you.
Hey, thanks a lot! It's the first time I learn what's behind this fascinating bike sport. It's like trying to tame a wild horse 🐎. I've never seen that device holding and at the same time allowing the rear wheel to move up and down. Is it something one can buy somewhere? At the beginning of the video I was wondering why the saddle was in such a low position, but in the course if the video I realised that this setting allows for the necessary range of motion of the lower limbs/legs.
Hey, glad I could help! Biking can be pretty difficult and this tool is super helpful for learning new skills. You can buy it through the link in my description and use code: theryanoutdoors at checkout for a discount. And you were correct about the saddle being lowered for range of motion!
I’m about 5’8” and the bike is getting a bit small. I’m working on getting a bigger bike soon and I think I’ll keep this one for a dual slalom bike as it’s super playful because of its size and weight!
That’s true, it’s not as much a lack of space to practice but more for if it rains or snows a lot in the winter and don’t have any place to ride or practice. This allows you to dial in your skills during the off season. Similar to how a lot of people ride peloton or stationary bikes in the winter. The skills in this video can still be practiced without the garage bunny. Hopefully this clears things up!
@@DronePath it can be awkward at first but it definitely help you get practice in a more controlled environment. It’s more helpful for beginners just trying to improve their skills. Definitely a great manual trainer though!
This a cool video but I need to tell you something, When you make a AD for someone You need to say "This video is sponsored by ..." Or put an #AD in the title. Its a rule by the FTC "federal Trade commission".

You gave some really nice tips that I've never thought about.
Keep up with instructional videos, they're good.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful🙌
Excellent and detailed tutorial, definitely the best of 10+ bunny hopping tutorials I've watched. Keep it up!
This is great to hear glad you liked my video! Hopefully it helps in practice🙌
Nice instructions Ryan, the slo-mo at the end is really useful. Plus you've banged out a 21" hop - nice! 👏

Now I wanna try a bunny hop.

If you’re asking for a manual tutorial I’d totally be up to making that. I’ll try to film in edit one in the next couple of weeks!
@@theryanoutdoors looking forward to it! SUBSCRIBED!
@@Zaricheawesome thanks for the support! I’ll probably have the video uploaded around the end of March or very beginning of April!
How tall are you ? And what bike size is that? It seems that the bike is so small but at the same time it feels right! :D

Seems like a hassle just ride at walking pace and bunny hop if you dont have space to practice you don't have space to ride

Ok thanks for letting me know I will edit the title and description
What actually defines it as an ad? I’m just curious.

that tool will teach you how to bunnyhop the wrong way...go get a bmx and learn it correctly.
Seems like he demonstrated it the correct way.
