We have to recognize the fact that sure he has a character and an attitude and even sometimes comes off as arrogant. But the judges have made numerous sketchy decisions on various occasions. Giving 3 white lights if i recall has happened again followed by cancelling the lift. He is an Olympic champion and probably the best 85 there was and nobody can take that away from him. He has a long history of referees kind of bending him over because of X reasons that i do not know. Kianoush lifted perfectly fine. He attempted a pretty decent weight that he would get, and he did. Same thing for clean and jerk. Looked very easy and I think it should be good lift.
Today, he was smart about it to get a total, and then do whatver he wanted to. I dont criticize him today. But when youre putting a PR 180 for your first lift, thats a silly decision, and it obviously had consequences. Its fine to be risky when you have nothing to lose, like today. Got a total, made sure he secured gold, and then attempted record lifts.

I'm under the impression that he went from 167 kg straight to 176 kg after barely making his first lift because, insecure as he appears to be, he had to protect his gigantic ego from failing at a weight which would have been beneath what was achieved in the 81 kg session... That way he failed at 1 kg above Li Dayin's world record in that previous session, which is more acceptable than missing at, say, 172. Meanwhile 176 was not even close and I doubt he had 172 in him. It's like he's afraid to appear weak by missing weights he wishes were beneath him. How can one lift more than 200 kilos above their head, actually take first place in the event they're competing in, and still look like a loser? Quite a feat in and of itself.

As for selling his gold medal great gesture ...which of course was much publicized..why can’t people do good deeds nowadays without getting media coverage ?
Your comment was a silly attack on me without at least considering that he was acting like a little brat
If that was my son out there I would slapped the crap out of him
    An embarrassment
Having said all that he’s a great juiced up all time legendary lifter

You have a bizarre notion of what is embarrassing from a guy who has done 220 officially and WON THE COMP 😂. He believes in himself and has proven it. Clearly not in favour in the sport and almost finished now. It is what it is.

Why do you go after me personally ? When I try to stand up for the non-juicers/ cheaters of our sport ...
Have you ever lifted with National and international lifters ? Because I have and I have seen the huge boost steroids give an athlete
How is that part of any parallel universe?
I know many many athletes who would have beaten rostami if the playing field was even
      But it’s not
I don’t look up to these guys like you do
I just know the truth and it’s a beautiful thing

@@davidfields1530 with or without juice, you just dont have roustami genetics, and yes I am as strong as shi already on national level. Now you gonna hate me too. lol

This has nothing to do with me
But you’re a little punk ass I can tell
I wish you the best of luck with your career
You will have to juice to beat all these guys you so adore and admire
      U ready for that?
