I don't know who jaybauman is but I think I speak for everyone when I say; uploading "Halloween 4 Opening w/ No Credits" to youtube will be the cinematic achievement of his entire lifetime
The original opening is already ominous enough with the credits, but taking them out suddenly instills this almost primal feeling of loneliness and paranoia similar to how you arrive at a new place and have no idea who or what could possibly reside there.
YES! I was about 8 or 9 when I first saw this movie and it was still newish. This opening sequence has always perfectly encapsulated a fall/halloween vibe that also feels creepy.
I love how Haddonfield, IL somehow has mountains in the distance. Kinda like how the Griswolds go to the rockies to chop down a christmas tree. All those Illinois mountains...
Whoever says anything, this Halloween movie has the best opening scene. You can feel the significance of the scene, the Halloween decorations, the abandoned farm, the cloudy sky and perhaps the most important, windy time.
When I was 11 yrs I lived in this really old, spooky house. It had an attic/bedroom with an extremely creepy staircase. Naturally, this was mine and my brothers bedroom, where I never slept. Kids being kids, we used a ouija board in this room and shortly after we had a terrible incident happen up there. The scene with the girl at the end of this movie has become inexorably linked with my memories of that staircase and the events that happened in that house. Haven't watched halloween 4 since.
@@AWSOMEPOSSUM16 oh please don’t listen to him! The whole movie is great! There are so many terrifying and memorable scenes in this movie! It’s Halloween 5 and 6 you shouldn’t watch. Those movies are dog shit.
@@DeltasArbiter no it doesn't it's a damn good sequel the mask isn't great but the film is pretty damn good with believable characters in loomis Rachel and Jamie the movie doesn't suck go watch 2018 and kills then we'll talk about what sucks.
The opening of this movie is probably the best sequence in the whole series
Actually the best part is when Corey over-powers Michael in Halloween Ends.
@doyoulikescarymovies3171 youre just a man in a mask

You speak only the truth. A true hero.
Pretty much exactly what Halloween this year looked like.
The Halloween spirit was alive and well in south Vegas, but I'm sure that's not true of many places in the U.S. :(
Not where I live
raining here rn : (
This is what halloween looks like every year in my country... there's not even decoration :'/
Lol

This captures the Halloween spirit better than anything I’ve ever seen!
Greatest Halloween opening ever. Truly portrays Halloween

Remember when movies set a tone? Pepperidge Jay remembers.
My favorite part of the series. Even more now without the credits.

Looks like southern pennsylvania
This film truly is set in a wicked world.
I forgot I was even subscribed to this channel
That sound is relaxing but slightly unnerving
ASMR
There's an alarming lack of ice cubes on a plate.
Only if the whole movie was like this.
What do you mean!?! IT WAS LIKE THIS!
It is from start to finish
Also, this is basically Maine anytime between September & the snow falling. Bleak & with more than sufficient rusting farm equipment. Also pumpkins.
Or any non-urban spot in the Northern United States.
Thanks Jay!
Masterful capturing of Halloween ambience.
Can't wait for season 2 of Jay's vlog!
He's back baby!!!
amazing edit and im glad im not the only person who loves these opening shots. Superb work Jay!
This captures Autumn perfectly!

Brilliant intro..best of the entire series.👍
Oh jeez, for a second I thought this was just shots of Milwaukee and I was going to say "Not enough snow!"
wake up babe, new jay bauman upload
4 years, worth the wait
Jay's pumping out content now. I'm here for it.
Glad you put this on TH-cam!
It's like 9c/48.2f in rural Ontario today when I walked to the store for groceries. This video immediately came to mind.
Thanks Jay very cool!
When need a 10 hour version for halloween party ambience.

What happened?
Wow this actually looks awesome
It's been 4 years...
I still really enjoy this movie
Anyone else notice the subliminal message added by Jay? Brilliant.
Yeah it’s a pretty weird way to tell everybody he has AIDS
My favorite Halloween film. The best opening ... and ending.
I love it!
Wow, that’s awesome.
I can't believe this is your first upload in 4 years lol. Thanks.
The weather seems nice 👌

Jay's going full yooper.
Spoopy
@ 0:22 you see Jay's cameo
Honeyville, Utah, USA is where this was filmed.
One of the only good things about this thorn trilogy was this intro. Word up Jay
This film is good though 5&6 not so much.
I love how to this day so few people even know about this channel...
thank you!
Straight vibes
Can we have horror movies that are more creepy and scary other than gorie
I thought this was Susan's channel?
THIS TOOK 12 YEARS TO MAKE
@ironcladmermaid Time runs differently for Jay. 3 of our standard years equal 1 Jay Bauman year.
Jay uploads on my birthday
Respect
great stuff
so cool
release the jaybauman cut now..
Re:view time! Guess we have to wait until next year though
ooh baby
Sup Jay.
This vid is borderline experimental.
Is Halloween 4 worth watching? This is literally all I've seen from it, and those we're some beautiful shots so I'm kind of interested now.
These really nice shots must’ve been shot by a second unit because the rest of the movie totally sucks and looks like a TV movie
@@DeltasArbiter thanks for the warning 👍

@@Sassywizard there you go somebody with some sense.
big mood
Ah...was this the inspiration for the (pretty sweet) opening of the Halloween BOTW 2020? 🙃
Haddonfield is suddenly Utah
Shit, someone's bored!
What does October look like:
Can I post this borderline experimental video into on of the many Halloween groups on Facebook?
liminal
Big fan of H1, but never seen any other entries. This looks somewhat promising.
I'm afraid it doesn't live up to the opening
Watch 2 and 3.
2018 if you want. The rest are shit.
Oh Hi Jay
spooky
Finally
BORDERLINE
Is this channel still canon?
Subscribing all those years ago paid off! Sorta.
Lyrics?
Looks like Oklahoma or Nebraska.
Then, when the video is faded out, enter the drums of Raining Blood.
Mmmmmm
Now can we get an RLM video without a Star Trek reference? Amiriiite?
creepy as fuck
If you take out the music, it looks like a showcase of shitty Halloween decorations on a local news station.
It’s better this way because you don’t know that you’re about to watch a crappy movie
It's a good sequel what are you talking about go watch blumhouses crap those truly suck and feel like parodies especially Halloween kills.
How is it a crappy movie
