Thank you so much, Emma. You have helped me through some of the hardest times, finding ASMR in 2013 after losing my father at 23. Healing with your loving mother energy. I said goodbye to the most important thing in my life last month on the 13th, Archibald, my almost 11 year old corgi. Today has been especially hard. I can lay and relax now. Thank you, I know there are so many of us who feel grateful for your channel and love you share.
This was one of the first ASMRtists I ever found. I was 19, very stressed, and I learned that there were videos made specifically for sleeping to help soothe the mind. I’m now 27, life is still stressful, but Emma has shut down panic attacks and kept me company when I didn’t want any in very hard times. I hope someone blesses Emma in ways that none of uRe able to for the gift of unwavering peace she sends our way.
Epictetus was a deep thinker and he definitely had a sense of humor.😁 It's amazing on what one knows or has learned, being reflected and taught by someone far far back across time.🏺 This is incredibly relaxing but I'm trying to listen too.🥱 Thank you for sharing this Emma. Perfect, wow! I have been watching and listening to you and other ASMR for years but never experienced anything like that, wow! Tingles, floating, tiny muscle spasms, wow! Intensity! I watch "sound treatment" with you and Maria quite frequently, one of my favorites. Also you did one where you went to a shop and made candles, but I cant find that one since. Marcus Aurelius is a name you may have heard of as he was a Roman emperor, but he cited Epictetus, a slave, as a major influence on his thought. For the most powerful person in the (Roman) world to cite someone from the very lowest rung of society in those times was unheard of, and is a true testament to the stoic philosophy as an egalitarian method of understanding human beings as they are in the world. You are incredibly good at this. The way you gently move your hands and nails across the paper is exhilarating, and the way you whisper just loud enough to get across what you are saying is perfect. There are times when I can barely understand what you are saying because of your accent and soft-spoken quality, but I like that. Sometimes I just like to listen to a person as they whisper so softly all I hear are the sounds that form their words. I can tune in and listen if I choose to or tune out and just enjoy the sounds, so it’s a fine balance you’ve struck. I first listened to you read The Velveteen Rabbit, and was in bliss, and now that I see you have more videos you can bet I’ll watch many more. Thank you for the great content and relaxation you bring.

I also had never heard of this book before, so it was definitely interesting hearing you read it, even though I’m not currently interested in types of books like this one. Hi Emma, do you know that ads have started playing at the ends of your videos? This was never the case before, its woken me up a couple of times. Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware. I know some ASMR artists have ads at the ends of their videos purposely though. Hi Anne Marie, I wasn't sure if they were playing that much but clearly they are. TH-cam recently took away the option to turn them off at the end of our videos. I always used to turn them off and now I can't. I'm sorry. If I learn a way we can get around it somehow. I will let everyone know!

I actually tried it once many years ago and it looked odd on camera, I thought. I just try to keep them clean now. I know what you mean though! Maybe someone could make it fashionable 😊
