I like the but stock butt pad better also. It is flatter. My synthetic stock has like points on the top and bottom. It makes it harder to shoulder. The top point catches under your arm if you hav loose clothing on.

I think the bolt Flashpups were actually better. My newer side lever has a pretty sloppy size lever. It has a lot of up and down movement on it.
