Finally found someone with a amazing passion and love of bikes like myself but i have to give my hats off to you after taking off everything off bike and even fixing or attempting speedometer ur really good with bikes come to new york i have a cbr600rr 7k miles on her 2005 and i just love her dearly
Thanks! I refuse to buy new parts if the old parts are repairable! We live in a disposable world, not many people truely repair things so I love to try to repair as much as possible and document it! That’s a good bike!
I was sorry to see you had to find out that this bike has some history, but I'm sure your talent will compensate and make this ride worth a while. Good to see you and CJ up together again!
I know I must sound like a crazy person, but having both of u guys in the same video is awesome. By far u go to have the best channels on rebuilding sport bikes. I’ve done some work like u but never this extensive.
Startup rattle on these models is normal due to the hydraulic cam chain tensioner. If I see correctly you also still have the Black cam chain tensioner cap installed. BMW sells a longer version (silver) to install after ~20000km which eliminates the startup noise.
Thanks for the info! I figured that is what it could be, a lot of the newer jeeps I work on have the start up noise till it build oil pressure. this is just my first bike that’s had it (new to bmw)
Hey brother I love your videos and love what you do .I watch your videos all the time but what is the RPM arm called on a 02 R1 how can I get that fix like you fixed your BMW rpm arm .
Are you talking at the needle itself or the motor that spins the needle like I replaced? If it’s your motor, you’d probably have to disassemble the cluster to get a look at it. I had to pull it off took me a while, but I figured out that it’s a stepper motor. Then I went on Google searched BMW stepper motor, and I found one exactly like it from China, I took a risk and it ended up fitting and working great!
I have had 3 2013 bmw s1000rrs the oil change with the metal shavings is normal don’t be afraid I’ve asked the same question at the dealership also be scared when you seeee huge chunks
@Benjamminoutdoors aha yeah, the engine lasted till 45k miles tho, before I bore kitted the second engine to a 181, still ran that good oil. All I ever used tbh
@@mannyvenus I did but that doesn’t change the geological location of the UK they are still in the continent of Europe. The USA is still in North America we can’t just decide we are part of South America. That’s not how it works. I guess it’s confusing tho since people can identify as anything imaginable why can’t countries do that too.

I mean it is what it is, I knew it was high miles so you never know with those bikes.

Hell yeah bro! Glad I found another play list! U make this look easy 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Wait!!!!! How are u guys in the same video!!??? Lol I love CJ Media
Cool 😎
Just based on 1:11 I'd say the swing arm is bent. Looking at the rear shock.
I’m 98% sure it’s the subframe after inspecting everything
I would totally buy a turbo diesel s1000rr 😆 🤣
Lol me too! It would only rev up to like 6k rpm tho….
Let me know if you need any parts I may have it.
Thanks! Email me Benjamminoutdoors@gmail.com I may need a few more things just lmk what you have!

Is that built from the bottoms s1000rr
Yes it was!
You couldn't double nut the front of the kickstand bolts and keep on pulling them through the frame?
There’s no need, loctite and making them really tight it won’t come off
Ok gotcha.

I got pretty much exactly the damages when i crashed my s1000rr. Except mine leaks fuel when trying to start it.

Yikes that still doesn’t reassure me 😂 but I’ll guess we will see.
Rozrzad było słychać, bo napinacz oleju nie miał. Pierwszo trzeba krecic recznie, później rozrusznikiem i dopiero palic.
Does modes works without problem? My crashed rr have tps sensor error :(
Not exactly sure I haven’t ridden it yet, it’ll go though the modes tho.
used to run that green oil in my grom lol
You WILD, I’d never spend that much for oil for a grom. The “cheaper” synthetic is plenty good in my opinion.

I hope you know that England/ UK is not in the EU
Last I checked it was part of the European continent… unless it sailed off to other part of the world.
