TRULY EXCELLENT. Absolute great range up and down, and a lovely variety of melodies. After each of your lessons, I feel so good and that is proven when I start my singing. My enormous thanks as always. You're truly the best coach there is. I would recommend you to anyone who cares about singing.
Hello Jeff! I took years and years of choir and music theory growing up. I stopped singing for a few years after I experienced a deep depression over the loss of a family member. Your videos are helping me retrain my voice and fall in love with singing all over again. Thank you so much. (I am an alto with extended range and I am loving these exercises.)
Dear Jeff, the best voice coach ever, here's wishing you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a great big fat thank you for the best time I have had with your incomparable lessons.
this is also so much helpful - the range it covers, c3 to c6 matches with my range! for my lower range i sometimes use your barriton/tenor videos 😆😋 but when i can go through c3 to c6 at the same time, i can clearly monitor what my body's doing when it is vocalizing through various ranges.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching! If you sign up for the newsletter at www.jeffrolka.com you'll get instant access to the Triple A Method! Thank you! Jeff
@@JeffRolka Thanks for replying, Jeff :) Yes, I noticed that the notes I can sing both in chest and head voice, turn out to keep the pitch more easily as I use the head voice, rather than chest
I can always manage this warm up with no problem, but I noticed something interesting just now. Around 20.00 to 24 or 25 (I think I felt I was singing the O vowel with more ease than the others. Why would that be Jeff or am I just strange?!
We all have vowels that we favour or avoid (I have to remind myself to work 'u' regularly). Over time they can be reconciled but occasionally one will stand out. It may be that you've got just a bit more release on that vowel at the moment, and it may lead the way for the others. Great work! All the best, Diane! Jeff
Thank you for always including exercises for mezzo sopranos! You’re the only vocal coach on YT that always includes us!
Without any further ado at 1:16 ;-) Thanks Jeff!

Jeff, is it easier to sing on pitch while using head voice ? At least that's what happens to me... Thanks a lot!
Easier than what exactly? Than chest voice? I would need a bit more info to help you!
All the best!
Jeff

@@JeffRolka Oh thank you Jeff. You give me such confidence.
I have a question Jeff! Why does my spine/back hurt the day after I practice onset and staccato exercises? What should I do about it?
You are probably unintentionally tightening your lats. Don't do that! I used to get the same thing.
Quite possibly. It's possible too that you're using too much overall muscle force throughout your torso.
