Even with previous amoung us games with other people, Luca would always sus out at least one impostor.
But sometimes he trolls too much and you wouldn't know if he was serious or not so only chat knows how his thought process works. That's why the rest of them can't trust everything he says.
It's a bias we have since we're watching from his POV. From other people's perspective, its hard to determine whether what he's saying is true or not.
It would be interesting to see Luca play with complete strangers. So we can see how his brain works on people he's not familiar with.
I agree. When I watched Luca’s POV, he seemed really serious when talking to chat, and I really liked the way he explained things, so I fully believe in him; however, in other people's POVs (where you could only hear his voice & not see his face), his voice sounded as if he were joking. That’s why I understood why his colleagues would find it hard to believe him in light of the fact that he speaks with a mixture of laughter.

It's not that they don't believe him, it's that they can't. He fxks around too much to take him seriously, imagine if they always take his word it'd be chaos. Plus his reason comes from his insane people reading skills, which is innate and hard to translate.

Of course, it depends since it could just be their innate personality to prioritize that kind of thing.

luca has a tendency to be unserious oftentimes during his streams so majority of the members don't really suspect the person he has in mind , but rather think he's the imposter instead ! like his brain works in a certain way that he can pick up on the smallest behavioural change .
The two people that actually impressed me in this game was luca and fu, nobody else. Fu is very good at manipulating the game and convincing people while luca is just such a master mind at reading people to a scary point. I really hope they can just learn and listen to luca for once, and for example if fu was the imposter, seeing them compete would be so exciting.

I do want to talk a bit about one of Luca's methods of reading ppl through this vid, since it is not complex and quite a popular method to use when you play these kind of game. With compilation like this we can clearly see that Luca did not focus on the truth amount of statements from other since that required a lot more information to give out a solid confirmation. Instead, he focus on the purpose of their action/speech. He did not question "Is this true or not?", but "WHY does he choose to do that?". If you think about it that way, it is easier to sus out someone.
We can take Doppio's case as example - when he jumped to defend Uki, we cannot confirm his statement to cover up Uki was true or not, but shift the thought to "why was Doppi defend Uki THAT hard?" --- well now that sound sus. Same thing applied to a lot of cases in this whole collab, bonus with how Luca know some of the impostor's habit (such as Fulgur like to shapeshifted into the other impostor - and a rare impostor choose to do that frequently), he can have more stuffs to help with the reading and deducing.
