Hey Alex, do you have any other dash screens like the one in the pink car? Not the satnav but the cruise control/speed limit alarm and aircon screens? Chasing one them in full working condition for my mates 1999 AU Fairlane Ghia.
I’ve got a couple but I’m keeping them for my cars sorry man
all good, do you know the rough cost of what I should pay at a wreckers? And do you know what years/models will work? I have never even pulled that section of the dash out. @@Jessiemuggleton
@@KyleDennis-z1t it depends where you go they sell for $100-$300 and there really easy to take out take the trim around the clock out and then there’s 1 screw and then you can pop it out

As an old school car guy I think, you may as well have fun working on AU's while they are cheap and parts are plentiful. We did this with the Falcon XA-B-C's, Fairlanes and LTD's. The mechanicals were all interchangeable.Most coveted were the 351 motors.You guys seem to prefer the 6 cylinders,not sure why?.I'm still a car guy but my rides have changed to an AU Fairlane V8, AU Falcon XL V8 ute and a Mercedes 380 SEC. What is the story with the Merc? W124,w126 cars are going to be big money soon.
Yeah I quit like the au’s and I prefer the 6 cylinder au’s cause a more reliable motor I like the sound of them and there powerful enough and easy to make big power with them, I’ve had an AU V8 XL Ute and I’ve also had a au manual XR8 but I still definitely prefer the 6 cylinder au’s, the Mercedes is my old man’s not mine hence why I didn’t mention it in my video but it is a beautiful car for sure
y not use the doors and glass and guards from pink au and put them on the rat rod au
Because the pink car was my car the Ratrod isn’t mine and my partner will be getting a parts car for her ratrod

@MountFlanklin I don’t have 10 aus, I’ve got 3 and 2 bmws and I have them cause I like them simple as that 🤷🏻 I’ve got a Ute for Ute things that’s already a nice car I’ve got the skid car for skids and I’ve got my nice au that’s all I need I don’t want something else lol
@alexmuggleton I actually like the amount of cars you have, it's better to have more than type 1 car you like than 2 to 3 you only drive once
