I'm a 55 year old die hard Queen fan who just recently became enlightened as to how good and diversified Dave Mathews Band music is and all I can say is this is gooooood gooood good stuff. Love the violin and horns.
I’ve tried over and over to like Queen. I Can’t argue with the talent I simply can’t get a good heart felt feeling from anything Queen did. Freddy was obviously one of the greats, sadly I can’t relate to it.
I just love how every time they play a song, it is brand-new and unique. It's never exactly the same thing, it's always changing. Great musicians, indeed!
Exactly why it is such an enlightening treat to see them live. Their music, especially live events are always something you have never before experienced! They are an astounding band. Totally under rated...but those of us who know...we know we have something very unique and intimate in the dmb. Almost like our little secret that everyone COULD also experience, but their little minds just can't grasp something this big and this important in the world of music. They are always on top. You can tell that they love what they are doing because it shows night after night with every performance. Truly a phenomenal band full of hard working, talented musicians. I do disagree with the way they handled the situation with Boyd. They were too quick in making that decision and I believe it was the wrong decision to make. I would bet my last dime that they regret it as well, IMHO.
I've always liked DMB but I've never been to a concert, I have friends who were die-hards about the live shows back when we were younger and now I see why. Jesus that extended jam with the violin player was so electric I felt it deep in my soul through seven years and my computer monitor. If any of the other songs in the set were even half as dynamic and moving I can see why my friends have been to hundreds of shows...
It's such a show worth seeing. They won't be around forever... Dave's already getting Grey in his beard. I hate to say that... but you never know when the last chance will be. "Can't believe that we would lie in our Graves, wondering what might've been."
Dammit Boyd...that was just beautifully done, my friend! You kind of leave me speechless when watching you play. Nothing compares to seeing you play...especially when I have front row tickets directly in front of you! Such an amazingly talented artist and one of the hardest working musicians that I have ever experienced. You always aim to please. Just blows my mind.
you know Boyd is getting into it when he starts walking around the stage and dancing. absolutely a band worth seeing live. seen them twice at DTE and both years the show absolutely rocked
GreatGreatGreat .. went to the DMB concert in Lisbon on Sunday ... Fantastic! 4:30 hours of great music quality! Thank you ... thank you !!!! DMB As Dave said: Obrigado (Thank You, in portuguese) Very Much!
Noblesville Indiana anyone?? It's been about 5 years since I've been to Dave's show, so this year I'm going down to Noblesville. Seen them many times but it's been too long
This is their best song ever no doubt. The version in Away from the World DVD is probably their best live take ever (save the ending part which is best in Live In Chicago). Love this song.
At about 11:00 minutes, have y’all considered going into “You Look Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton?? Perfect timing. Another absolutely amazing compilation of sound and talent. Thank you.
At 5:55 changing the video speed to x0.75 is.. worth a listen lol incredible also worth noting at this speed is how tight and perfect each note the band plays
Cant wait to see them in concert again this July! ^^ Its truly quite the experience.. Seeing DMB is more than going to a concert.. It's artwork. A unique and individual masterpiece every show, every song. And i was actually at this show ^^ He's not coming back to Darien Lake this year though which is sad :/ Toronto here i come!
Gotta love how he opens up by seducing the audience with a basic pickup line lol. Gotta love these guys. They just exude pure joy every time they play.
The Menacing Tinsley! Gotta love the man's passion every time he takes off. Would love to see True Reflections live. Carter is the only one that can keep up with him. I think it scares Dave. LMAO!
Fonz's rhythm is for real on this. I love the play between he and BT. Horns, Fonz and BT all seem to be looking at Carter around 7:15 for the change, BT actually comes down a note at 7:21, Carter says fuck that, let's keep this beast going! Love this version!!
Yessir! I'm on 8 nights. At 22 years of age, the ability to fund cross country trips to see him live is difficult to come by. So worth it though. I try to tell my friends they have to see the best performers of our time, but they can't see it. The Gorge and Red Rocks are my two big ones I want to see within the next 2 years
My favourite DMB song I would have say. Favourite version of Lie in our Graves would have to be Live Trax 11. Boyd and Butch together, just so sweet! Just google Live Trax 11 and go to the musictoday website to listen.
This looks like The Woodlands to me based on the tent-like venue. Was the NY venue a similar layout to this?. BTW just saw y'all live last night and can't get enough. Love it!
Sometimes i here negative stuff about Tim.....I guess the first time i saw DMB was with Tim so i cant imagine it anyway else. I couldn't keep my eye's off him the whole night!
9:00 … Why is no one talking about Stefan Lessard's bass solo? He's an animal on bass!!!
Boyd’s talent is irreplaceable.
Apparently not.
Best version of this song that I’ve ever heard! Magnificent!
Really miss that fiddle. The band really hit their peak during the period where they had the two horns (especially Jeff) and Boyd.
Best performance of this song I have ever seen! Bar none! If anyone thinks 1 is better please offer it up.
Couldn’t agree more.
th-cam.com/video/KixD22K7XeI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_ti7YUKicz1NZAbY
This one is better
They are one of the greatest live bands ever!!!!!
For those of you who don't agree, that is a "YOU" problem!!!
Cool it, man! No one's arguing! ... 'cause it can't be done, it's pointless, you're right! Period!
I was sent this footage years after being camera 13 for this venue. My lucky number!!
Going to a DMB show is like opening gifts on Christmas morning.
omg most certainly is...that's the kind of feeling i have going on right now!!!
And presents at your birthday simultaneously.
Well it’s Christmas today and Santa has yet to deliver
YEEEAHHHH IT IS STACY!!!!...
Too true!
I'm a 55 year old die hard Queen fan who just recently became enlightened as to how good and diversified Dave Mathews Band music is and all I can say is this is gooooood gooood good stuff. Love the violin and horns.
Welcome aboard! :)
It's been 3yrs since you made this comment.. I really hope you've been to your 1st show since!!!
I’ve tried over and over to like Queen. I Can’t argue with the talent I simply can’t get a good heart felt feeling from anything Queen did. Freddy was obviously one of the greats, sadly I can’t relate to it.
God that sax behind Boyd`s solo is just incredible. Talk about lifting each other up :O
Boyd absolutely slays this
When a band can give you THAT much energy THROUGH A TH-cam VIDEO!?!!??!?!? Come on man, that is just magic.
Been to 58 Dave concerts. This was best version
I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND THEY ARE THE BEST BAND PERIOD.
Tim Reynold made me cry
Simply the greatest
I just love how every time they play a song, it is brand-new and unique. It's never exactly the same thing, it's always changing. Great musicians, indeed!

Boyd is awesome wish he was back full time again 2022
It's such a show worth seeing. They won't be around forever... Dave's already getting Grey in his beard. I hate to say that... but you never know when the last chance will be. "Can't believe that we would lie in our Graves, wondering what might've been."
If you go to one show, you’ll figure out a way to go to a hundred. It’s poetry.
If that’s the warmup, i can’t imagine the main performance
Best Dave Matthews Band song ever, hands down.
That's what I say about almost every song of theirs. LOL
Bring back Boyd!!!
Dammit Boyd...that was just beautifully done, my friend! You kind of leave me speechless when watching you play. Nothing compares to seeing you play...especially when I have front row tickets directly in front of you! was there.. PIT fonz side... wish i was there again and again... like a lover that i just can't quit.
Unbelievable. It's crazy how you can put every single version of the same song on your music playlist and they all are awesome.
You just can't watch them perform and not have a smile from ear to ear... It's just Pure Joy!!.. Thank You so much for your music guys!
This song is what my soul needs!!!!
I was at this show. Incredible set & this song really stood out that night. Glad they released the video.
So many amazing live performances from music greats, this one ranks amongst the very top. Never gets old....
Need the LOVE button!!!
you know Boyd is getting into it when he starts walking around the stage and dancing. absolutely a band worth seeing live. seen them twice at DTE and both years the show absolutely rocked
PINE KNOB
Tim's solo on this is incredible. Such a great player, love him!
This is REAL music!!!!
Love this!
Mr. Tinsley absolutely murdered that solo
Simply smashing
The Bass had got to be one of the best out there
Nothing like being a part of that live. Only LoVE compares.
My favorite version!
It's an Absolute Masterpiece that never gets old Melis
Great solo and awesome jam. I keep coming back to it.
Tim's solo is crazy good! What a brain he has
Great solo by Boyd!
my favorite song...
thank you for playing this incredible song.
Great comment below. I see that now there's 13 people that don't know about music. Too bad they're missing out. This song is amazing!!!!
Love how the song "dies" and goes to it's grave, before Dave resurrects it at 12:46
Really need to see them again someday. It's been years!
Sooooooo good. Still jammin in 2020
GreatGreatGreat .. went to the DMB concert in Lisbon on Sunday ... Fantastic! 4:30 hours of great music quality! Thank you ... thank you !!!! DMB
As Dave said: Obrigado (Thank You, in portuguese) Very Much!
Noblesville Indiana anyone?? It's been about 5 years since I've been to Dave's show, so this year I'm going down to Noblesville. Seen them many times but it's been too long
I was in the pit!! Great show! :)
Totally missing LeRoy and Dave is amazing. ...one of my 5 though, Carter you rock! !
This is their best song ever no doubt. The version in Away from the World DVD is probably their best live take ever (save the ending part which is best in Live In Chicago). Love this song.
My fav DMB song, no doubt about it
For all of the “musical geniuses” who have been saying the band hasn’t been the same since the early 2000s need to see this.
At about 11:00 minutes, have y’all considered going into “You Look Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton?? Perfect timing.
Another absolutely amazing compilation of sound and talent. Thank you.
pure music collaborated perfectly.
Oh Boyd💜
Boyd we miss you. It’s just not the same...
They're still awesome- but true. I always wonder if down the road there might be a reconnection.............
At 5:55 changing the video speed to x0.75 is.. worth a listen lol incredible
also worth noting at this speed is how tight and perfect each note the band plays
Pure energy flow ... , great !
Perfect mix!
4:12 .....Carter is killing me !!!
Cant wait to see them in concert again this July! ^^ Its truly quite the experience.. Seeing DMB is more than going to a concert.. It's artwork. Great song! :D
Happy Belated Birthday Mr Matthews!!!!
this is sick !!!!!
Gotta love how he opens up by seducing the audience with a basic pickup line lol. Gotta love these guys. They just exude pure joy every time they play.
To hear is too see. To see , your alive!
The Menacing Tinsley! Gotta love the man's passion every time he takes off. Would love to see True Reflections live. Carter is the only one that can keep up with him. I think it scares Dave. LMAO!
Woo, I was at this show. I wish they would have posted two step instead, it was the best song of the night.
Fonz's rhythm is for real on this. I love the play between he and BT. Horns, Fonz and BT all seem to be looking at Carter around 7:15 for the change, BT actually comes down a note at 7:21, Carter says fuck that, let's keep this beast going! Love this version!!
June 6th in Burgettstown, PA! 2015 two sets is back!
I'm mad that he is only doing one set in St Paul, MN at the beginning of July. Guess I'm just going to have to hit East Troy, WI at the end of july
Brad Muckenhirn the more shows the better!

RIGHT ON MY BROTHA!!!
Boyd is INCREDIBLE!!
He's horribly out of tune for most of his solo. And this is not a one-time occurrence.
Going to see the on saturday 6/7 :))
Impressionante...
Superbe !!!
Carter beauford , drummer. All day long
Saw them in 1993 summer college campus concert before they got huge
