Boys - when you see squiggly type writing paired with tropical weather, its almost always southeast asia. Also, keep up the good work, love these vids!
A few tips for y’all: No country in Europe drives on the left side of the road….except the UK lol If you see tropical trees, asian looking people, spanish names, and English everywhere inexplicably, you are in the Philippines.
G1: 23,211 G2: 23,916 G3: 19,163 G4: 16,633 Definitely disappointed myself on the last two. Especially since I timed out on the last round of the last game. I always enjoy when you guys do these. I play GeoGuessr like a madman, nowadays, to the point that I’m able to identify certain countries better than my own.
One thing that helps me a lot in World geoguessr is looking up at the Sun when its not being blocked, that can easily tell you which hemisphere you are on the planet. (depending on season of course)
Is that a WVU hat??? LET'S GO BABY Edit: If you do this again in the future, it would be helpful to narrow in by using what you know about climate and latitudes. Tropical looking climates only occur in a certain band of latitudes both north and south of the equator. Same with the latitudes of colder climates, they only occur (in Geoguessr) moving south within a certain distance of the Arctic region. Use the sun as well: If the sun is to your south you are in the northern hemisphere. If the sun is to your north, you are in the southern hemisphere. Also, this should help you immensely for the future, China has no Geoguessr coverage.
i was yelling at my phone when you guys were guessing europe for the philippines lol. but it’s very common there to have a bunch of political signs and advertisements for sodas and stuff along the road!
The "World" map on GeoGuessr has a TON of US locations within it. When I play it I usually still get 2-3 US locations per game and it's annoying. Maps like "Community World" and "Official World" have a much more balanced representation of countries in the game.
If it’s a European plate and yellow, it’s either Netherlands or UK. Also use the sun. If it’s in the north, you’re in the southern hemisphere. If it’s in the south, you’re in the northern hemisphere.
Just a little hint if you see people wearing masks it probably more then likely somewhere in Asia. Asians have a culture thing where they wear masks all the time.
"That did not look like Brazil, but we've never been to Brazil" LOL love it!!! Great job boys!
That Brazil guess was brutal, clue on the truck and you go Mexico 😂

I look forward to this every week
That was pretty good for beginners. If you're going to continue playing world you should look at what countries are covered.
Nebraska mentioned rahhhhh
China is not in GeoGuessr. Only Hong Kong is in the game
Went to Europe recently and learned that that majority or European countries drive on the same side of the road we do and England is just weird

Big trucks normally have a dot code on the side somewhere so at least you can narrow it down to a state at least
Got some great merch ideas for Johnny! Should have shirts with “that gives me Japanese/Pennsylvania vibes”
J for future reference. Countries like china aren’t in Geoguessr because their government doesn’t allow it

there are no google maps in china therefore no geoguesser location will ever be in china, old trick I learned long ago
Sometimes if you know relatively where you are, see if you can find a trash/recycle bin sometimes they have a town/county listed on them
I have been watching the pro geoguesser and learning a few things but I am very far from being any good
Can you guys not tell by the people sometimes? Both times you chose Columbia in my head I was like those people are definitely of asian descent

And Japan has yellow plates and boxy cars. Makes it easier to tell👍🏼
Kuwana japan was on the sign you first looked at in the 711 one
Is that Avebolt? My fav Geoguessr?
ReMax was founded in the US
Avery you’re the 🐐
Not the Barcelona you're thinking.
They also don’t have Venezuela and North Korea in Geoguessr
Bang
Brookhaven is not an upstate New York name. Further north you go the more Canadian the city/town names sound.
