i think they are realizing that trying to make a wide variety of people happy that buy the product while trying to make money for shareholders is pretty tough. they tried to do too much and in doing so exposed their weakness.
@BigBAnimeTCG you're probably right xD also I hate that rebirth became the anime card game and weiss because the mobile game card game... that switch up was not cool ._.
Yea, idk UA doesn't have any IPs that im excited about. Weiss is indeed getting expensive for sure. Too many tcgs rn. In the next coming years, i feel that there will be a bunch that aren't gonna be around anymore.
makes sense. that is why both will exist. one wont destroy the other as long as there are enough people willing to buy it. bushiroad will have less money because of it but can continue to live. same with union arena. the smaller names may not be around but that is expected.
@@BigBAnimeTCG Yeah, and I fear for Bunny girl if it ever comes over The case price increase is unfortunate especially since the yen is continually declining
not necessarily. u can still plus on a set with the higher rarity cards. personally if i were selling and i was confident in a set's higher rarity prices, i would rather take the hit on playset to open more cases.
what you wrote reminded me of the girl scout cookies. people at work would sell cookies so their kid could meet the quota, money for trips, and prizes depending on how much is sold. What i would always ask is "could i just give you money and that goes straight to your kid." i know some people want the cookies. i did not. it was cheaper to do this since i didnt have to buy the cookies. in the end, i feel like it is cheaper to just hand the lgs the profit they would have made and just buy from a cheap place.
English sets are worthless except for game play, they skimp on signatures and instead use money grab ideas like serial numbers(Zero value) and stamps(Zero Value) instead of using the signatures that are in the Japanese sets which are more collectable and worth way more money. We need to boycott English sets. Not collectable at all.
i wouldnt say that fully. depends on the set. azur lane was pretty expensive for some sps and got a reprint. i think it just comes down to judging based on each release vs stereotyping the whole thing.
The past 2 en press conferences for weiss schwarz have been amazing advertising for union area. I wonder how much bandai is paying bushi?? 🤔

@BrownandWeiss they gotta chase that money.

I'm glad the English boxes are matching the Japanese ones just to keep things consistent. Now if only they'd match the signatures
they pretty much do. without looking was it just saekano this year? it really doesnt happen too often. the more important part is pricing.

If price increase that means pre order playset will also increase and backpackers might stay the same price or go a little bit higher.

Price goes up, that's the American way. I'm still happy to simply buy 3 jp boxes to 1 en box. I'll still buy to simply help my local store.
