This version is have a jazzy touch, I would love to hear him singing a jazz. He is incredibly talented, tall handsome and lots of gifts, it’s so unfair. But his personality that always shines, a very elegant man, act with class, polite, humble, very funny and a genius
You need to watch some of his fan vids at airports etc, and you will see his natural responses. Also his family meals and gatherings, and practises with Igor and co and others.
Don’t forget that jazz is amongst his qualifications.
And … he is very tall and lean and is not constricted with body fat.
And he has and does train his body with underwater swimming most days.
And he sings more than he talks… seems to not only practice for about 3 hours per day, but thinks and breathes music.
If you want to catch up on the 20-30 thousand hours of lessons, practice and singing in conversation…..then ….. you can do it toooooo.
Dimash is not ordinary… he is destined for this.
Regular people do not have this type of directional focus and drive.
My absolute favorite version of this song vocally and arrangement wise. The back up singers and the instrumentation is just stunning.
As for his breathing....if you notice how Dimash is built . He's 6' 3". He has a large chest cavity, long upper torso and straight back. He has built up his lungs and chest through swimming and running. His upper body is straight and solid. He bends from the hips and lower waist, not in a slouch. Kneeling helps ground him when he uses so much power. The force is quite something. He describes it as like a hurricane.

In a concert, his mother goes to the edge of the stage and wipes his face. His parents also reported that he exhausted himself enough to wring out his clothes.

This is my favorite rendition of Unforgettable Day! It's so powerful, emotional, musicians are phenomenal & there's absolutely no whistle necessary when DQ pours himself into the lyrics he wrote when a teen with what feels like the same intensity he surely must have sung it the first time possibly to whom it was written? He reaches down into his soul & past memories & pours them into us & touches our souls & past memories of first loves seemingly lost long ago ...or not lost, eh? I ❤️ it!

To me, the Gakku performance is the best one, but I must say I absolutely love here at the beginning, how the slow part with that gorgeous piano highlights the beauty of the melody. It is so beautiful and he composed it in such a young age.. talk about talent.

Gakku one is for the D8 but the best one was in Singer where he did the headvoice runs and riffs and that was the only time he did it, u cant find it in other performances

He composed this beautiful melody at age 17, then his father Kanat wrote the lyrics adapting a poem by Oral Baisengir (Kazakh poet) and sang it for the first time at age 19... a prodigy without a doubt, not only as a singer but also as a composer. Thank you very much

I love this more jazz-sounding version-especially the second half. Dimash improvising is my number one favorite thing ever (Know-live with Igor Krutoy, band, and the flying girl. The end of that song was pure gold insane improvisations.) This version of unforgettable day, he completely reinvented the song! Just wow! This is now my favorite version. He could improve it more with more jazz techniques in the first half. Which he may in fact do some time in the future. Subscribed from Hobart Tasmania Australia. Cheers guys.
