As you said, IDP compulsory nhi hai but in most of the blogs people are saying we need IDP with Indian licence and checking bali laws also, in that also I can see IDP is required, so its little bit confusing.
I said officially you need it but I never applied and police stopped me saw my Indian license and said okay you can go. This is my 4th trip to Bali without IDP.

As I informed in video officially you need IDP but police don’t have any issue with my Indian DL….They stopped other tourists as well even they don’t have IDP as well…So it’s your call you want to apply or not….
They don’t check till the time you will not break any rules like rash driving or riding without helmet. Baki waha ki police kafi chill hai. Mai abhi last week hi wapas aya hu 2 month ki trip ke baad. Mujhe kisi ne nahi roka or kisi ne IDP nahi pucha… mostly foreigners without IDP hote hai or police ko ye baat pata hai…

Bro checked with your bike provider before 1 month of travel but they are not having economy bikes and they are saying , we have nmax and honda adv thats it which are standard or premium.

Contact Dewa motor and you can use same scooty for kuta and Ubud for 5 days. After that when you go Nusa Penida then hire for 1 more day by contacting him.

Hello. I can understand that you mostly don't require IDP but if I want to make an IDP then how to make? Because I know it requires visa but we get visa on arrival on Bali.
I never applied so I can’t guide. However, the information I have according to that you need only flight tickets and after that you go to local authorities where people apply DL. Also you can apply visa online. For that you can check my community post.
Just applied international driving licence for bali from mumbai , you fill the online form ,you don't need flight tickets , and for Indonesia they don't ask for visa as it's visa on arrival, you need passport, your regular driving licence, aadhar , 2 photos ..form 1a( medical certificate) doctor signed. Fill the form online , make 1000rs payment.. get form 1a signed by local doctor.. print out all documents.. take it to RTO .. get it verified.. done . Next day you can come back to collect Your international driving licence which is valid for one year

Dewa motors didn't provide car in Ubud.. i contacted them on watsapp, they said- they can't provide car in ubud..only scooters. may be they provide car in kuta only.

Hello Sunil sir. Aapko Ubud mai kafi budget stay mill jayenge starting from 500 Rs. Ubud mai kafi vegetarian options bhi hai or aap humari tarha shared kitchen mai cook kar sakte ho. The best time will be April to Sep.

No, that’s a different island and you can go by fast boat only. After that you can hire bike from dewa motor for Nusa Penida as well.
Dewa motors didn't provide car in Ubud.. i contacted them on watsapp, they said- they can't provide car in ubud..only scooters. may be they provide car in kuta only.
