Hi, Sim card activate on the spot.. within seconds and it takes less than 10min pass the gate. For Sim card, they will take picture of ur passport. No need to carry any documents for this

Hey thanks for this video..one question..is traffic police checking become stricter in Bali.. recently saw in news that driving rules have become stricter now..i am Not planning to get International driving permit..is driving with indian license okay? How was your experience driving without IDP?
In bali, i saw very less traffic police officials on road. Checking is not regular there. They don’t bother much unless your are creating any mess in road or does not wear helmets.

Generally they are nớt concerned and only at few places u will see any traffic police.

Indian rupee is exchanged only at few designated places but very bad rate and sometimes they dont take INR. Take USD from India and convert it in Bali. Bali is safe.

You can take Niyo.. i feel conversion rates are quite good of it.
For 7 days we took 1500 dollars, whatever money left we convert it back at bali airport at the time of leaving.

Yes u can withdraw from ATM as well but rates are better from exchange through agents.
For INR to USD conversion you can use “book my forex” website, they offer generally good rates.

They can ask for all accommodations. Sometimes they don’t ask but better to have all booking in hand.

Thanks for this! The only 1 thing I would say is never exchange currency in Denpasar airport..Like the currency conversion is very low so keep the 35$ change only or may be 40$..pay via forex or credit card is also available!

Yes forex works in beach clubs, hotel payments etc. but still cash is needed for majority of expenses. ATM availability is good although exchange rates vary from ATM to ATM.

It is quite useful as travelling with so much cash is not safe. You can pay wherever u can find card option, rest u can pay in cash.

Yes. But try to book till you are there in Visa section. Once you move out gate, connectivity will be lost.

You won’t get good exchange rates
Let me ask you this , evoa online is valid for 30 days and we can extend it for another 30 days , so if a person took evoa and plan on staying like for example 40 days , the return ticket has to be within the 30 days or it can be the day within the 60 day period whenever i choose to leave ….
Yeah, you will have to show outward travel within 30 days. In such case your best option to book flexible ticket in which you can update your date of travel, so once you get an extension of stay beyond 30 days you can update your flight date accordingly. One more option is to take 60days evoa instead of 30days.

For scooty, roads are very narrow so if you have good driving skills, you can take the scooty on rent, it cost around Rs350 per day but as you are travelling with kids so its better to take a cab. Download gojek and grab in your mobile. Its like ola, uber. Make sure to check the rates in both the application as prices vary too much sometimes almost double. Cabs are easily available so nothing to worry just download these to apps. Cabs are budget friendly here.
One more tip: do sign in when u got the new Sim in bali. Login through that number.
