Vintage Summer Card with Newspaper Background

- Tonight, I shared a fun card featuring the new Vintage Summer Card Kit! I created a frame using the new Master Layouts 12 and layered several together to allow the inside piece to drop down inside. I created clouds with the Sea, Sun and Sky stencil and then colored various vintage images to arrange my scene. There are a couple of funny bloopers at the end. I just got my vintage summer kit and master layout 12 today so I am watching for inspiration. I am so glad that you do the same thing about putting you card panel upside down. Gina you are too funny. The card is perfect and anyone who gets it is very fortunate 😊

BEAUTIFUL
Years ago I used old catalogs. I found the pages with the old corsets with roses. I also used an old map . We moved from California to Utah. So cut my card in the shape of Utah. I had a stamp that showed a picture of an old house . It read that our house got dirty and so we moved . It turned out really cute

Just because the paper is upside down doesn't mean it's wrong. Just amusing as I've stamped words upside down on the tops of my cards! Pretty card anyway!

LOVE this Gina! No newspaper so I used a page from an old French Cookbook. DH just loved the result. Said it was his favorite card I made for awhile. Who knew he loved vintage! LOL I have some old "real" french letters I bought not too long ago I think will also work nicely. hoping I can post these as long as I stick with the vintage stamps and dies etc? They would just be BG not the focal point and should not look any different than that "newspaper" look. If it does I won't post them. 😇
