To solve the guitars "jumping/bouncing" out of their mounts install straps that mount to the base and loop them over the guitar horn/cutaway/strap button . I installed velcro tension straps in my large guitar vault. Anywhere the strap touched the guitar I used a soft cotton face cloth in between the strap and guitar. It effectively solved the problem of the guitars jumping out of the cradle. Cheers!
Biggest problem when flying with these cases is that TSA or whoever is inspecting the bags can never figure out how to correctly repack and or close the case properly. Ive had a few and in theory they are great but more than once I have seen them on the baggage claim belt with the lid completely off of the main case.
Great review. Now when most people online say "trust me", I click off and run for the hills. But I will tell you this, if Henning says "Trust me"... You can. I have gotten many things, after watching Henning's reviews. They are SPOT ON. I have been watching EytschPi42 for years... back in the days of when he was doing Joyo (Thomann branded) pedals, and stuff. He is a straight shooter and tells it like it is. I usually go back to find old videos of his on equipment I want to buy - since I normally buy used gear. Thanks.
I feel like this would be a bit better if you could strap the guitars down with like ratchet straps, then you know they can’t slide around as much. The issue is you have to account for protecting the finish especially if it’s nitro but it would be a nice option.
Not Airlines break luggage, Airports do this. Luggage handling is an Airport service consumed by Airlines. Name Airports, not Airlines if something happens.
Henning, I have one of these cases myself. In order to fit the guitars better you could remove one of the foam inserts in the bottom and have one guitar up against the side of the case
I think these are great cases for moving guitars on the road in a truck or a van. Buying an expensive and good protective case just for some people at the airport not doing their job right seems strange to me. That’s one of the reasons I don’t travel by plane. This may also happen to your normal luggage including your notebook etc. In case I had to fly to a gig, it’s an option for me to by a acceptable budget guitar at the location and donate it after the show for charity. This may be cheaper than buying a sturdy case every now and then because it’s beat up after a while...
These cases are great and all until the lid gets ever so slightly bent and then it becomes a extremely fucking tedious job getting it to shut properly. Found this out first hand on tour with The Temperance Movement as they use these cases.
Do places like Guitar Center still offer 14 day trial periods? Why risk leaving your precious babies to the tender mercies of airport/airline security when you can just leave them safe at home and "lease" equivalents wherever you're going?
Don't want yer guitar broken Always fly by Private Jet ... if your able to afford it .. and if your really successful buy your own jet and hire a pilot or learn to fly .... .Look at Maiden and if you wanna be mean .. buy 2 tickets side by side so you have a seat for yer guitar
Check out the ENKI cases. Only for two guitars, but more efficient :)

another great informative video ! love all your music at the end very unique and the singers voice is very special
Looks like a winner so far, will be interesting to see how the design evolves.

The case is also very well suited for guitar storage. Especially useful if you share your living space with small people or better said children.

I wouldn't be without mine for my double neck pedal steel guitar, I also have a brilliant Scott Dixon Packer Stool

If you use clothes, do not! use anything with buttons or Jean's with rivets! Use "T" shirts or soft sweaters!
So no slayer style spiked leather jackets? 😂

Why do europeans pronounce "aluminum" as if there's an extra "i" in the spelling after the N? It's not al-u-min-ium. It's simply alumi-NUM.
