As someone who is on the hardest difficulty, distill tree is actually what you want to max first. B/c you get a free relic to start, you can recycle it immediately and get a legendary relic, and you can choose your build based on your first relic
I had made a comment when you unlocked the class but yes absolutely *any* effect that mentions flying sword damage/procs will still apply for subclasses that replace your flying sword with something else. Edit:Rereading this realized it may come off as being salty or too backseaty with mentioning that I made a comment about it already, and I apologize if thats the case. I bring it up cause the translation choices and lack of game explanations makes it a very easy point to overlook. Super cool to see this series and this class is one of my favorites, super excited to see you unlock and experiment with more!
I really hope this game has some great difficulty scaling and replayability for many many episodes to come. And that this series gets viewer support. B/c I’m loving it so far. And on that note… this series is great! Support :D
After 15 hours of gameplay i can safely say this game has great replayability. There are 12 "classes" in total and the difficulty levels get a lot tougher as you go on. The final level is extremely difficult from what i've seen in a video. So yeah, the game shouldn't be a problem.
@@TheTickyTickyTicky After about 20 hours in I completely agree. Honestly I was a little disappointed that i cleared a roguelike so quickly, Upon clearing chapter one after your 1st elemental unlock (Fire) , on the very next run i cleared the next 3 chapters and subsequently the game . Ticky's example with the Heart of hatred can also be similarly accomplished using Legendary Pearl as a flicker. Unfortunately unlike Hades their aren't any environmental changes to the boss fights as well so i found the playthrough to get a bit tiresome as it felt like the same playthrough just with enemies having more health. With the only real difficultly being the boss battles. This is by no means to say it isnt a good game and if your looking for something like hades (like i was) this is definitely one you should try but some the scaling and balancing needs some work. Being immortal in a rogue like kinda defeats the purpose you know.
I found Blizzard extremely challenging. You can absolutely break the game with some builds and some skills make things easier than others but after the second difficulty things start to scale and new elements get added. It is always the same maps for the various scrolls but I don't find that too detrimental to replayability. They will also be adding a lot of new content as the year progresses according to their road map.
@@ronaustin3893 I am shocked by how did you do it in 20 hours. I mean, difficulty scaling in this game is AWFUL. Basically they just increased HP of enemies with little minor changes. What build did you use? I am 40 minutes in final boss fight and got him to 40% hp (white frost class), Now he is doing his "100% death move" every fucking 30 seconds, I am not sure i want to continue...... He can't kill me because i outheal him, i can't kill him because i am not ready to spend another hour (or more, because of that move) holding left mouse button
I’m definitely in the same school of thought as Reto. I sees a synergy that’s cool, I fangirl. And when the combos are as fun looking as these, it makes the game look sooo much better.
correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you were actually poisoning enemies most of the time (just dealing poison damage) and weren't getting the bonus damage vs poisoned enemies from your weapon. just like flame damage and backdraft, I think poison damage doesn't apply the poison effect?
Excalibur Refining always gives the same rarity or higher so it's really benefitial to reroll for the sword of your class if it's already a red sword. because red sword have 2 excalibur effects both of which are really strong
I know that it's a joke to call the warm snow "water" because molten ice and stuff, but have you considered the idea that it might refer to ash? It's the first thought I had when you read out the title in episode 1 and then with all the coughing happening when they breathe it in, just seems to make sense
This so far has been my favorite of the games you’ve played on this channel, your whole vibe fits it surprisingly well and I am excited for the daily releases, especially seeing you get surprised about the new stuff!
Giant white lotus spawning over top the palace + warm snow possibly being ash = This game is Fallout: Nippon confirmed. Also, distilling a relic is turning the ingredient into an elixir. If you distill one with the capstone ability from the Forge side (the confusing one) it SHOULD also create a new relic that is guaranteed to be Leg.
For Damnation, you recover a percentage of your defense per point of HP. Dependent on the size of your health pool will correlate to how much or how little defense you receive back per point of lost HP.
I would not have found your channel except for your great first look at RogueTower, which hopefully there will be more of those coming. But the play through of this game is exceptional and entertaining as well! 👍
distilling is really strong, ik one percent attack doesn't sound like much but each point you put in the attack tree at the beginning left you with only 1% as well, considering you left behind at least 5 elixirs that run that would be a total of 5% attack and hp, with the healing if you get some of the other talents. It also allows you to always go for elixirs to try and hit that perfect build and not feel bad when you whiff on getting a relic you want.
