    I sent this package. I'm Mr. L .... LOL but you are allowed to call me with my real name Luciano. Nice to see you eating the sweets I sent to you. Very funny. Pity about the Snackettis, they are delicious. I will maybe try to send you again in the future. Rivella you should drink it fresh or cold, the taste is much better. Here in Switzerland we have also the low calories Rivella (Blue) which was the very first Light or Diet soft drink, in 1958, much earlier than Coke or Pepsi. Then you will have Rivella Green Tea taste, Rivella Peach and Rivella Rhubarb, I know you like Rhubarb so I will maybe send them to you, probably you never tasted softdrink with Rhubarb flavor. Greetings from Switzerland, you are always very nice and funny.

    Best hot drink to have with cookies depends what you're eating. I like sweet, strong black coffee with chocolate biscuits, milky coffee (microwave a mug of milk to boiling point and add a spoonful of instant coffee granules) goes nice with sandwich biscuits like Custard Creams or Jammie Dodgers and milky hot chocolate (made with the best hot chocolate powder you can afford, make as for the milky coffee) goes best with butter shortcake type biscuits.

  • @simplyshama
    @simplyshama 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Milka is without a doubt one of the best things to come out of Switzerland. And anything with noisettes (hazelnut) in the title is bound to taste gorgeous. I want those biscuits you tried so bad!

    • @LetsDanceInTheSky
      @LetsDanceInTheSky 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Milka is German, and Cailler or Camille Bloch chocolate are waaaay better in my opinion (for those kinds of supermarket/mainstream chocolate)

    • @simplyshama
      @simplyshama 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Monamielarose Really? I seriously thought it was Swiss.

    • @LetsDanceInTheSky
      @LetsDanceInTheSky 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      No no, it's German, and actually even American, as it's been bought by Kraft Foods...

    • @simplyshama
      @simplyshama 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Monamielarose Oh cool. Cadbury's was brought by Kraft too but it's still British :)

    • @mrtreex9491
      @mrtreex9491 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Monamielarose not really. actually the Milka was founded by a swiss person 1826 in Neuenburg. Then it turns to a german company. And yes you`re right Callier, Lindt & Sprüngli are much better. Greetings from eastern switzerland ;-D

    Lady grey tea, no sugar, maybe a splash of milk, with nice, hard gingersnaps dunked in it! They get beautifully soft and go so well with the bergamon(sp?) and lemon.

    Hi Emmie, thanks for another lovely video :) the islandic moss tablets/candies/lozenges are also to be found in Germany and the Netherlands, where they are usually sold as throat tablets. The islandic moss has properties that moisturises the vocal chords/throat when you have a cold or the flue. Much used by singers and recommended by speech therapists here :) The aniseedy flavour is probably added as liquorice is also supposed to be good for lubricating the lining of the throat and usually the islandic moss on it's own just tastes a bit sweet and earthy :)

    I have had Milka chocolate before... My parents went to Slovakia and brought some back for me on request (the other thing I asked for was Davidoff cigarettes *hangs head in shame*... Yes I was a smoker... but I am happy to report I am now smoke free for almost a year!!! YAHOO!!!)... some of the best chocolate in the world.. right up there with Lindt from Switzerland... Mine was bar shaped and was a combination of dark, milk and white chocolate in layers.. very sweet.. and you only need to eat one, maybe two squares at a time... my mouth waters at the memory of eating it...

    I absolutely HATE Isländisch-Moos-Tabletten. We always got these in this horse riding class I was in & I spit them out as soon as I was far enough away from the stables. NEVER AGAIN hahaha and Rivella is SO GOOD. One of my favourite beverages. And we always eat Chokito when we go skiing. Favourite candy bar! Mr. L has good taste haha he surely sent you some good quality stuff

      StephanieMorelli Actually it's kind of myth and truth at the same time. There is nice article on a topic of artificial flavours, if you want, Google it - BBC the secrets of fake flavours. :)

    Haribo ! I love their candy. If I can get my hands on exotic ones I am over the moon. I had pico-balla this week. It was soo good. I also made sure to go to Sockerbit when I was in NYC. I got a whole mix of stuff. The salted licorice nearly killed me. But the gummy and marshmellow candy is ridiculously good.

    That banana bar looks amazing, banana is one of my favorite if not my favorite fruit flavors! Right up there with coconut! They should make something like it in America, only maybe with more of a caramel texture than marshmallow
    one. Someone invent that, lol.
