Sorry you couldn't come to Canada - we are still very much closed off. Even provinces within Canada are closed to each other. Paying for parking in something I HATE the most about cities. It's a necessary evil I guess though. Beautiful tour of the city!
Yes it’s a real shame, we still have flight vouchers so hopefully we can get to Canada in the near future. It’s the worst parking in cities especially the size of Mabel! Thank you 😊
You actually can get 2 croissants &2 espresso for 4.50 in venice, too ^^ it always depends on the spot though. We even had freshly filled ones(we could choose the filling directly at the bar. Which I love). But yeah the parking in Chioggia is definitely cheaper. 24 hours in venice tronchetto costs 21€. But at least we never had any security issues so thats fine with me.
This is a blast from the past, oh to be back in Italy! Yes we parked in Tronchetto a few years back & were worried about getting broken into - Joe actually left the car completely unlocked - we didn’t realise until we got back to the car a few days later and it was untouched! Well worth the €20!

I am planning on being in Venice again next year, after watching this it looks like wife and I will stay in Chioggia, we have been in Venice 3 times so were going to stay outside of the main island anyway. Thanks for the tip.
