I have been pronouncing ‘thought’ wrong all my life and didn’t even know it!!! Thanks a ton for this thorough explanation, you’re a star and you’ve earned a follower today!!! 😊
It's not an easy task to pronounce these words. We have to review this video many times and practice and practice. Thank you, Emma. Your lessons are clear like a sunny day. ☀
NOT SURE ABOUT THE DEFINITIONS OF THESE WORDS AND HOW TO USE THEM? As I mentioned in the video, be sure to check out the description for definitions and examples from the Cambridge Online Dictionary (my favourite dictionary!) 🤓
Hi Emma, I have discovered your lesson through the wonderful web to learn English "aprender inglés con Reza y Graig" and I have to say it's been the best suggestion ever!! You are simply the best. Thanks a lot for your explanations
Elías I could, but I didn’t. Why? Because I focused on the common phrase which I said at the beginning :) I do have a video already about the ough endings so maybe check that out?
Oh no! The ludicrous -ough words! English is so weird. Bear/bare, hair/hare, but tough and though and trough. Ahhhhh! How did I ever learn this language! I'm a native American English speaker, too! 🤣😉🤭🙄😖😫🥴🤪
Thank you so much Emma, I hate this words because I always mispronounce them , now it's okay. Is it the same pronunciation in American English for those words ?
hey Emma, i am a brand new subscriber :-) i am a native english speaker but, i am trying to work on my T and D sounds just so that they are clearer and that they sound better. i like the Alphabet video you did where you zoomed in on your mouth to show the proper pronunciation of each letter, that's definitely very helpful.
No one will explain the sounds better than you. Therefore, the question for the future is Whether it is necessary to vibrate the voice? I hear that. I'm right? I can ask only you. Believe only you :) Thanks from the bottom of my heart!!!
:) I didn’t ask about individual voiced sounds. I asked about the general "rattling" of the voice at the end of the sentence. (Excuse me for bothering you. Your sincere fan.)
Thanks Emma, now i feel more confident to speak English with British accent, and i love it even though i am not a native eng speaker. Hope you can make more content about it. Gonna keep up with you.
Can u do a video by explaining conjunctions ......................... plz my brother is having that lesson so we can't explain it easly to him .when we explain he cant understand if u can do a video.. best of luck for u!..
Hi Emma! I have a question... If I have to pronounce the sentence longer and faster -ed or -t, anyone can't hear it well. I am Korean so I don't know the difference. But the English know the difference! They pointed it out to me, but I don't know what the problem is. How can I do?
U are in god tier on youtube As a suggest i think who have a regular schedule like 2 video in a week and 2 of them are definite days getting featured by youtube algorithm at some point Those channels progress so fast for example bob the canadian (70.000 sub in one week) İ love u goodluck
I've got absolutely no idea who Tarle Speech is. EDIT: I've just had a look at her channel and my video is OLDER than hers (specifically, by 4 days). So it's very clear that I did not copy.
You can pronounce it as "dip-thong" or "dif-thong". Please do a little research before commenting as it does make you look quite silly. :) I have a degree in English Language and Linguistics and wrote papers regarding phonological analyses during my degree and my MSc TESOL. 👍 dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/diphthong
I think at the moment for me coding should be easier to learn, than this 4-5 words to pronounce :D Thank you very much, looking forward to learn from you much more !

Without hearing you speak, all I can suggest is practice. Just practise speaking clearly instead of trying to speak super fast :)

There's Tarle Speech and she has been doing this stuff for decades. She has the same request, hence a similar video. Avoid copying, be original.
I've got absolutely no idea who Tarle Speech is.
EDIT: I've just had a look at her channel and my video is OLDER than hers (specifically, by 4 days). So it's very clear that I did not copy.
Hey Emma, it's not a deep thong, it's a di-phtong, meaning double-sound, not a deep something =)
You can pronounce it as "dip-thong" or "dif-thong". Please do a little research before commenting as it does make you look quite silly. :) I have a degree in English Language and Linguistics and wrote papers regarding phonological analyses during my degree and my MSc TESOL. 👍
