Not bad, I met Paul in 1969 in Novato Ca. He was playing with Michael Bloomfield at Fillmore West in San Francisco. He came to visit a friend of his which was my buddies older brother. It was bad ass he showed me a few things and I been playing on and off since. Thanks man and no I’m not from RATT
Tomlin your on a incline up , your passion shows to follow a genuine guy. Great teaching I today learned to play the 12 bar blues on basic NOW I have to figure out how to grunge down and mix in dirty blues with it. Keep it up. CHEERS
Helo my friend. I am Brazilian end you speaking i not understand because my inglês its much weak but, your explanations I understand perfectly.Thanks. Your channel is the best on the subject.
My very dear friend Ian "Barefoot Iano" Giddey, who lives in France and plays in the Band Mountain Men, taught me blues harp back in the 70's Tomlin. I hope you might meet him one day and introduce yourself, as you have so much in common, with your love of the blues and your gift for teaching the harp... God bless you my friend🙏
Great! An outstanding tutorial taking he lid off Paul Butterfield's playing and a great version of the song which is very different form Walter's original with its emphasis on the downbeat. Might I suggest that in lick 4 some players may find it easier to slide up to the 5 blow by starting from 3 blow (well I do anyway).
Another amazing lesson Tomlin man. As always. You set a high standard for teaching. Is it possible you can provide a link to the backing track as it’s not there with the ‘play through’. Many thanks.
Hi Sir Tomlin! I'm a beginner at the instrument and I just started watching your gret videos yesterday. I already know the basics and can play Amazing Grace and a few blues licks, but I can't seem to hit clean single holes without using luck, hahahaha. I'd like to know if you have a video for that in this channel because really you're the only teacher I could understand :>
Hi Tomlin, great lessons, I don't seem to be able to download your PDF tabs anymore, did you stop these? I really like the layout of these and learn a lot, can you let me know. Thanks
Thank you for your work Which music program do you use? Very nice with arrows showing how to play. Can you make a video about it? Best wishes from Germany

My friend Simon uses Sibelius 7 to make the sheet music for my lessons.
Thank you, I'll take a look
I've done a whole collection with your reef and lick
Great
Do you have a vid that explains playing with a C harp but playing in the second position of G. I don't know what's all about.
I do indeed Vernon; th-cam.com/video/hAgmbmvzjbY/w-d-xo.html
This tab can to be played in a D harp?
Absolutely, you can play it on any harp. Just make sure the band are the playing the correct key for you :-)
The original song is in the A key correct?
@@iberevillaca7162 Little Walter plays it in A, but the Butterfield version is in G.
What key u playing in. A
Hi Warren, I'm playing in the key of G on a C harmonica in 2nd position.
Do you need to know how to tongue block to be able to play this song?
Great lesson, from my all time favourite blues album
It is an excellent album! Glad you liked the lesson :-)
