My cousin has been trying to get me to watch this for a few weeks now, glad you talked me out of it! Given the choice of good story or good characters, I'll regularly choose good characters, so this is more than likely not for me after all XD I think your software did you some kind of disservice. A lot of your visuals were appearing before your voice reffered to the visuals. The Watamote one for example appeared twenty-five seconds before your voice referred to it. Your points still got across though, and it looks like you got more views than usual. Good job! ^_^ Picking up on our other thread, no rush on watching my stuff :)
To be honest, my girlfriend and I appear to be the only people that don't like this show, so maybe you shouldn't hold my opinion in too higher regard. I completely agree. The most important thing in anime are the characters! That being said, this show doesn't have good characters OR a good story. Really? Was the timing on my clips really that far out? I've rewatched the video 2 or 3 times and everything seems to be in order. My timing wasn't 100% perfect because of a re-edit, but we are only talking milli-seconds. Although I agree that the Watamote clip is furthest out. But yet again, only by 1 second at most. Tbh... I'm not 100% happy with this video. I think the purposes section dragged on too long and messed with my formula far too much. Oh well, making videos is all about learning. Hopefully I will do better next time. And like you said, at least I got lots of views! 🙂

Idk what happened earlier, maybe my old laptop loaded the page wrong. I think the possible purposes checklist was a good idea, and was not too long at all! That's what I was trying to get across in my purposes section. This show ticks so little boxes that its bizarre. But yet again, not entirely bad... more wasted potential. Only 2 thing wrong: Nazi's doesn't exist during WW1, they was born after the treaty of Versailles. 2: in the anime is stated clearly that France and England START the war forfear of the rising military power of the Empire. Fun fact: even in real world Germany didn't start the war, it was the austro-hungarian empire who declare war on serbia and after that for the game of crossed alliance the entire Europe fall in those senseless massacre. Allthe rest is your opinion and i respect this.

@@nicholaspurcell5960 I love it, the character are quite realistic, there's no fanatics in both sides, only soldiers who try to do their job and return home. a lot of underlined themes very intriguing, for instance the way Tanya try to avoid the frontline like a businnesman of modern time will do: instead of opposing the rules she try to exploited a loophole in them, the relation with Being X, she acknoledge his existance but refuse to submit to him, how there is not a clear black or wite moral compass on war. I find this show very intriguing on multiple level.
@@Nicce966 That's cool, I'm glad you found a lot of enjoyment in the show. Both me and my girlfriend really struggled with this Anime, but I get the impression that we were the only ones. It seems like it was a real hit with anime fans across the board. It's funny that you should highlight the characters as a strength, when I considered them the opposite haha. I thought the support cast had potential, but they got so little screen time and dialogue that they failed to shine. That's just my opinion though, and I know others often see things differently! 🙂
You should have cut all the German accent bits 😒 Agree with pretty much all your points. Weird show, felt like a waste of time with no decent characters to get behind. I can't think of a single element that stood out as anything more than average. It was definitely trying to appeal to Titan fans but every one of its shortcomings just comes back to the lack of relatable characters.
