Botswana is Africa's most attractive investment destination

Botswana has topped Africa as the most attractive investment destination according to the Quantum Global investment Index 2016. Morocco came in 2nd and Egypt 3rd. Somalia is the least attractive on the list. Yasser Hakim looks at the index.

Just like any form of trade FDI should be kept an the highest optimum functional level ....and not in excess for the national well being of country ....too much excess can be a disaster for both the locals .....there should always some protectionist procedure to keep all aspects of the economy at functional level...Just like total free trade ...an FDI OF over 50% + powered economy can be detrimental to the locals...Look at the so called pure capitalist countries..it has become impossible for ordinary people to own a home as prices of essential is pushed up by foreigners dumping money into these economies......communist countries are just as bad on a different essence....you need to balance FDI with local citizenship empowered procedures ...coz wherever there is balance..there is guaranteed and stabilized short term and long term success. ...but then again media wont report on these coz they are serving the interest of international corporation...I am a Botswana citizen living in Canada...
