Loving these behind-the-scenes videos. The Sleeper building you saw was indeed the lounge. It's actually the nicest one in their network. Thanks for your awesome content. I always enjoy your videos.
Hey, I just found your channel. 16:20 I get what you mean. I was in Aberdeen a few years ago and thought the same thing, when I saw that the wall inside the shopping center was actually the station wall. By the way: As an european railway employee I could order a pass for National Rail. Which also did not work at any gates, because it was not in this orange credit-card format. As in your video I really have to point out: the employees at the gates were always extremely friendly and helpful.
Love the series so far Jrssica and looking forward to more of the adventure. Many many years ago Ihad a first class Rover for two weeks, great fun, I used the sleeper trains on several occasions and had one trip back to East Sussex for change of clothes. I buy a London zone 1-6 Travel card once a month and there are quite a few stations that the barrier fails to open. Take care, nice to go along with you on the journey.
That Eton Mess looks like a happy end to a day. This was the noisy door trip, that squeeeeeek in the hotel closet door is the type that makes you aware there are strangers next door and you dont want to disturb.
Inverness looks like a nice city to visit & the castle looks amazing shame to see the scafolding & the hotel in Aberdeen looks like a nice hotel & the eton mess looks delicious brilliant vlog
@ It was the first year BR gave their staff cards with so-many-days’ free travel instead of a number of return tickets between named stations. I decided to explore Scotland - I got as far as Golspie before I decided the weather was miserable enough I’d bail out and get the next southbound train - it’s still the furthest north I’ve got on the GB network!
Enjoy your travels. In Glasgow you should have gone to the Star Bar in the south side. £4 for a 3 course meal. th-cam.com/video/MsxcRul091c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tRmWVGuPFnC-0Ybz
The Duke Of Wellington statue has always had a traffic cone on it 😂 it's became an iconic and traditional thing lol

The staff have always been friendly to me. I dreaded each barrier though because I knew it wasn't gonna work anywhere!

I bet it’s longer since I was last in Inverness station than you were! The last time I was there was in 1983…
Yeah... I was born that year. I wasn't travelling much then!

Inverness. Nice Wetherspoon pub there.
I go to hotels dishevelled. They usually understand as they get visitors travelling from far every day.
Wish I’d tried ScotRail first class now.
