Thank you for this! Really helpful. I've decided on Pendle for my accommodation thanks to you (was so torn between that and Grizedale haha).
Haha that's amazing. As I'm sure the JCR will tell you in Freshers week, Pendle is the place to be. Grizedale is nice and all, but personally, I found that Pendle Ghetto was just far enough away from my lectures to feel separate without it being so far away that I'm unmotivated to work. I hope you have a great time at Lancaster, wherever you end up. Good luck for your results!
hey im literally here in the same situation a year later XD. I'm so torn between griezdale standard and pendle standard too and need to decide. Any advice you got?
Heyyy! Go with Pendle it’s great!! Loads cheaper than Grizedale, has a great community atmosphere and the rooms are lovely and big. Plus you get cleaners! I’m sure Grizedale is great as well though xx
@@daizchalkx8490 seems promising enough. I have one question, how many showers are there in one pendle standard?
@@mueezkhan6476 there are two showers, and two toilets which are separate from the showers (and each other haha). That’s between eight people. My flat never had any issues with that, there were never really queues for the showers or anything as everyone showered at different times usually :)
