I think she's eligible for the Nobel prize, for living with an audiophile/reviewer for all these years, she seems like a wonderful person, thanks for introducing her to us Steve.
That was wonderful. Steve is my brother and I have to say that many years ago I purchased a new stereo system with Steve"s help. I listened to several systems and speakers and I could hear the difference immediately. I have never been satisfied with "bad" sound since. By the way, Robin is a awesome quilt maker as well as making great shirts for Steve. They are both awesome.

Same here. A quilter and an audiophool under the same roof, multi-purposing the space as best we can. Seeing you two interacting brought big smiles to us. In my dreamtime I keep working on a SketchUp model of what our ideal space would look like. Interestingly, she decided that something the size of the Cardas Cuboid would work for her, too. :).

That was fantastic! I would note that quilts, in addition to being art, can be useful in changing the acoustics of a listening room. We were blessed to live near Lancaster,PA and began a small collection of Amish-made quilts. If I can ever afford some Klipsch Cornwall speakers, I will be able to test the benefit of our quilts properly!

This was a pleasure to listen to. What I hear is a synergy between the two of you that is nice to hear. Every once in awhile there is this person in the back ground that drifts in a d out of the vieo frame, so i assume it was mrs audiophilliac. Thank you for doing this.
This is really great Steve - your ability to keep it real is appreciated - the level of understanding and respect and "love" between you and Robin is obvious. I met my Robin in Paris in 65' and over the years she allowed me to put some very large speakers into our apartments and homes. I remember driving to the PX in Germany to pick up a pair of Empire grenadier speakers. and those tall Magnapans and Dahlquests - on and on. It is so important as one grows older to have a companion to share life's memories. You two are wonderful. God Bless.

Behind every outstanding person I've met there is often an exceptional partner. I'm an artist, too, and have spent many happy hours in museums, most notably at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I visited there last about five years ago. I was also there in 1988 and back in 1957-59, lived on Governors' Island in New York Harbor, where I was a serviceman. Steve is fortunate to have you in his life!
Thank you. I loved the tidbits about multiple uses for spaces. Many of us have had to reconfigure similarly the past 3 months. You are ahead of us.
