I love mugetsu fullbring ichigo. I was hoping for a fullbring ichigo( not the bound versions) in the game and this I like it, i always wanted to see more of the fullbring powers in the manga, this kinda gives the impression that could be power up he would recibe in the fullbring arc if the arc hold a more "human" related story.
i had this same theory man, and i still wonder.... why did ichigo did not try to recover the stolen power? i ask myself that but i already know the answer... ichigo is not the "revenge" type a guy and he as already pretty dawn strong after receving his powers back from rukia soo he probably think that he would not need to take back the stolen power. Actually explanation of characters are those: Ichigo : A special version of Ichigo created to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Brave Souls. This is Ichigo's appearance when he combines his Soul Reaper, Hollow, and Fullbring powers. Even in this form, his will to fight with and protect his friends remains the same. Byakuya: A special version of Byakuya created to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Brave Souls. This is Byakuya's appearance when he is clothed in the power of Shukei Hakuteiken, a special Senbonzakura Kageyoshi technique.
I don't know If you noticed, but If you take a closer look at Byakaya, you will see that he has 2 locks of gray hair. Also If you look closely, you will see that Byakuya is fused with his Hakuteiken form. I think this will be the new big thing in BBS in 2021, something like "beyond bankai" for all captains.
I think u guys dont remember the trascendation of ichigo and azien (I dont mean his hogyoku form, rather that what he explaind in the battle with the King quincy) because this looks quite similar
Ichigo’s look feels like what could’ve happened if ginjo gave him back his fullbring in the final arc to fight ywhach. And honestly that sounds better for the final battle if you ask me cause it would feel like a good gesture from ginjo because he found out ichigo requested his burial when he died.
Regarding Ichigo. My theory is that this form is the real combination of his fullbring and soul reaper powers. Because it is pratically the same form as Ginjou when he stole ichigo's fullbring and turned into bankai. The black hair is not related to mugetsu. Ginjou's hair turned white when he used Ichigo's fullbring.
Hair color change being part of bankai fullbring is a nice theory, it also supports my theory of KLab making "if he took 100% control of" versions of Ichigo making one for his fullbring now, so not Mugetsu reference it's the 100% complete fullbring bankai Ichigo, might be true
Byakuya is wearing his reiatsu like Yamamoto and he's using a single sword that cuts multiple times (like he did in that one filler), this is my speculation based on the animation. This version of byakuya was absolutely inspired by Yamamoto.
i think its if Ichigo managed to merge his Fullbring with his Shinigami powers, as in Ginjo didnt steal them. hmmm but he also has Mugetsu hair and the wings are like Ginjos Bankai Wings

the way i see it, is that ichigos bankai has 3 modes. qunicy, hollow and a balanced(base bankai) mode. in the battle against yhwach he used the balanced mode and had not fully developed/mastered the other two. tekking 101 did a video theories that ichigo can have multiple different modes if he tips the balance of his power to one side just like how he hollowfied against yhwach, meaning the inverse is also possible. quincy/this new form seems to fall suit to this theory and allowing his bankai to have multiple modes.
Beautiful designs, it's not easy to tie in all these forms and make it their own while keeping that genuine feel. It's easy to imagine these in the upcoming anime or future forms, very well done.
Byakuya s might actually be a form he has as a perfected version of Shukei Hakuteiken gameplay wise how he’s able to attack in it like its normal rather than like in soul society arc he could only use one strike this form could be his bankais true power or potential
To me, this is what Ichigo final Bankai should have been in the Thousand Blood War arc. To be fair, I like Kubo style. He always makes Ichigo look good in what ever form he’s in. The Horn of Salvation look is pretty cool, but it’s probably Kubo laziest design. This 5th anniversary look, is simply stunning and elaborate. It use the armor motif that Ichigo has been sporting in the timeskip until the end of the final arc. The fact that it pays homage to Mugetsu makes it more viable as a final form. To be honest, Kubo couldn’t top final form look after Mugetsu. This is my opinion. Thats not to say any forms or looks after Mugetsu didn’t look cool. But Mugetsu just had an other worldly feel to it. Like a specter from another dimension that’s beyond our comprehension. Ichigo has transcended the use of using a sword and has become the sword. Him quoting “I’ve become Getsuga Tensho.” It’s form that reverted my expectations in a good way. And the last form make feel that way was Ichigo first Bankai.
Indeed despite what the “official” description states I always had the sense that this is what ichigo’s true bankai looks like A combination of all his power fused together in a form that is just one step below the mugestsu form I also like to believe that in this form Ichigo is truly one of the most powerful beings in the universe But that is just my two cents

tbh since hers was unlocked by ichibe... that should be her final form bankai. i read somewhere(its been awhile) that MOST "worn" bankai are in the final forms. if you noticed alot of bankai revealed MOST are NOT worn but rather wielded. but the ones AFTER they see ichibe(ichigo, rukia, renji. not sure about byakuya as we dont see his bankai after his palace trip)
@@jason101386 We do see Byakuya's Bankai after the Soul Palace training, both Gokei and Senkei, and it's the same as before. And Ichigo's is no longer clad-type once he gets his true Bankai, all the power is focused in the sword. So I think it just happens to be that Rukia and Renji's Bankais are clad type.

Well considering Byakuya had to get his Senbonzakura reforged to fix his Bankai which I assume since Renji had to do the same for his Zabimaru to get it's true Bankai I'm pretty sure this would've been Byakuya's new Senbonzakura's bankai if Jump didn't rush Kubo to finish the manga. The same could be said for Ichigo but after we got the Quincy form and now this I think his Bankai is more than we thought it is. If we can remember he has 2 main sources of power Shinigami and Hollow fused into one and the Quincy powers which is his own seperate thing. When he learned his true nature of his powers instead of letting the old man be assimilated by Zangetsu Ichigo decided to infuse his Quincy powers into his Asauchi giving birth to the two swords we know today, long sword for Shinigami/Hollow and the short sword for Quincy. For abilities we know he not only retained the Getsuga Tenshou, but he made atleast two variants of it the Jujisho which allows him to fire two Getsuga's with his swords in the shape of a cross and the Grand-Ray Cero infused Getsuga which he can only use in his controlled Hollow form, speaking of that Hollow form Ichigo can only access that when the balance of his powers shift to the Hollows favor waking him up and that's just for Shikai. Now this is where my theory for his bankais come in, let's look at the balance of power when Ichigo's powers are a harmony the swords are black, but when he allows the Hollow to wake up the long sword turns white and he turns Hollow and when he uses bankai in that form we get a sword that looks strangely similar to his past Shikais with the long blade working as the swords Hollow Mask. Then we got the Quincy form which is in my opinion Tensa Zangetsu after Ichigo's powers shift to the Quincy powers favor which would turn the short knife into a bow hypothetically. Finally we got this new form that's coming out which seems to be a more controlled Mugetsu and when I looked clearly at it I can see hints of his Oken attire so this wouldn't be his form if Ginjo didn't steal his fullbring in my opinion (Since if we recall Fullbring is basically Hollow powers for humans by pulling the sword from anything in the Bleachverse) so I assume even if it was stolen the power remained within Ichigo since after getting his powers back he gets Fullbring tattoos which also to me was a sign he accepted his Hollow and it was beginning to become the main source of power again. Also we should remember that Mugetsu(Final Getsuga) is basically all of Ichigo's powers working in harmony, but at the cost of losing his powers. So I believe this new form for Ichigo is Tensa Zangetsu if the balance of Ichigo's powers weren't disturbed and he accesses a more controlled version of Mugetsu (which his bankai represents compressing his huge and vast spiritual powers in a more small and controlled form), plus Ichigo was made a war power because of his unknown potential so perhaps that's his Zanpakuto's true ability the unknown potential of his soruces of power.
So put simply, this is a version of Ichigo that incorporates nearly all of his forms (with the exception of some hollow aspects with the exception of red Getsuga I guess?)

Mugetsu fullbring. I think it's the human transformation. Quincygo is like ichigos Quincy (Bankai). Horn of salvation is shinigami/ hollow transformation. This is human/fullbring transformation like bankai. He has 3 different forms
I liked someone’s comment stating that these are “beyond Bankai” forms, like the beyond resurrection forms. My theory however is that these forms are a take on what it would look like if Ichigo decided to go against the Soul Society so he ends up fighting Byakuya again. It has a bit of holes but it would help make sense as to why they’re fighting “again” I will 100 percent be summoning as Byakuya is my second fav char and every Ichigo looks great in BBS

Off the wall theory. This Ichigo is an alternate timeline one where he is a fullbringer mainly or awakened those powers first and later had some minor soul reaper powers awakened and he has black hair like his dad does instead of the orange. Maybe he was a fullbringer for a while before the beginning of bleach in the original time and he had his soul reaper power activated by Rukia still which leads him to fighting Byakuya like in the orignal, but maybe in this timeline he is more of the head of his household and not necessarily a gotei 13 member or was formerly and so his regal nature is represented by this form.
Maybe it’s the inverse of the Quincy one we got? Where there was a clear Quincy majority and maybe this one is focusing on combining all his powers including fullbring and his powers being focused more on the shinigami and maybe even hollow side due to the white armor he wears
Ichigos looks like a a fully realized Mugetsu, where he’s not hiding his face, which signified his refusal to accept himself as a hollow hybrid, now that it’s gone he’s been unleashed
Although I've never played BBS, I've kept up with most of the original designs that were made for the game. Such as the beyond Resurreccion for the Espadas, TYBW, also CYFOW being adapted into the mobile game to name a few. As for Ichigo & Byakuya's forms for the 5th anniversary, they look fantastic! I visit Bleach's subreddit often, which is how I found out about these new forms and after reading some replies/comments I thought made the most sense, along with what you said, I wanted to give my take on what Ichigo and Byakuya's forms are inspired from. Ichigo's upper attire is an homage to his final Fullbring form before Ginjo pilfered it from him, and presumably what he would look like (similar to Ginjo) if his Fullbring and Soul Reaper powers merged while in Bankai. And Ichigo's Reiatsu wings though! The flaring coattails are definitely from Ichigo's Fullbring Bankai, but with the cross portion where his upper and lower torso is being similar to his TYBW incarnation post Soul Palace training. The next aesthetics for Ichigo is the hair, which some say could be inspired from Ichigo's Final Getsuga Tensho, or even in the comments below, Ichigo's hair turning black because Ginjo's hair turned white or maybe based off their respective original hollow forms, which I will get to. Also, his eyes remain the same color instead of turning red. Lastly, Tensa Zangetsu. The sword's hand guard, jagged edges and blade are all based off of White's original form. On to Byakuya. He's certainly garbed in his power, as Yamamoto was with his Bankai, Zanka no Tachi's second form Zanjitsu Gokui. Takes a heavy homage to his final technique, Shukei Hakuteiken, but with a more profound appearance. The angelic wings in my opinion are the best look, along with the sword. The circle that's attached to the wings is a halo that's behind Byakuya, giving him the appearance of an angel, but in Soul Reaper form. I also like the fluffed collar that surrounds his neck. I think this presumably would be what Byakuya's Shukei Hakuteiken looks like after his Royal palace training, but one could dream. And for some reason Byakuya has 2 locks of gray or white hair. Also, congrats on hitting 10K subs so fast!
both ichigos weapon and byakuyas weapons are lances by the looks of how it starts off big at the base/hilt and then thin to the top. Could be like them merging with their weapons? who knows
It makes sense, brave souls has given us multiple what if Ichigos and all of them seem to be Ichigo taking one of his powers to their limit, in my opinion, mugetsu is the full power of his pure shinigami powers, we got his fully hollow but controlled version as well, his full power Quincy version, and now finally his full power as a fullbringer
The 2nd anniversary Ichigo was supposed to be if he took 100% control of his hollow powers and was also a bit of a new design because Ichigo never had hollow powers active without he's clothes being damaged before and other reasons, the 2019 new year version was if he took 100% control of his quincy powers which was a completely new design and now one Ichigo resembling his fullbring a lot for 5th anniversary, it could be that this is a "if he took 100% control" form for his fullbring and that may be KLab's plan, to make a "if he took 100% control" for each of his powers so I'm hoping for a "if he took 100% control of his shinigami powers" and maybe one "if he took 100% control of all his powers at the same time"
Personally I thought it was pretty clear from the brief glimpse we saw of the event story during the livestream that this is them having a rematch. That's the reason for all the symbolism towards their original fight at Sokyoku Hill. These forms are clearly from some point after Ichigo regains his powers.
Ichigos design is incredible. It definitely pulls a lot of different details from various forms he shows throughout the series, but his zanpakuto is really interesting. I think it actually looks like one of the bladed arms on white, the hollow that aizen created. Very cool character and I’m so ready to spend all my spirit orbs to get him :)
There seems to be a large focus on Ichigo's hollow side with the Fullbring influence and the design of the blade. It was his fight with Byakuya that the hollow half of Zangetsu first took over. That might be the connection.
I see this form as Ichigo's Fullbring and Shinigami powers clashing making this, they mention its very unstable and he can't control it and immense power like that would be uncontrollable. I used to originally think it was a controlled/mastered mugetsu manifested into a normal form. Great video though!

I would, it's a lot of fun, new designs some time, characters never seen in other games before (for example CFYOW) and playing with your favourite characters seeing cool special moves are always nice (especially hearing the voice actors), I warn you though KLab isn't very generous to free to play players but you can still get what you want sometimes if you work hard for it or well... it's mostly about luck like other gacha games, I hope you start playing and enjoy it!!! Good luck getting your favorite characters!
Yes and no. It’s a fun game, but it really depends on you if you want to stick around. It suffers from what most gacha games suffer from, a major incentive to spend money on it. Over the years it has gotten worse with this but I stick around because again, it can be fun especially with friends.
The final GT or Mugetsu is described by Ichigo as him becoming GT itself. So this is not some upgraded form of that. It is Ichigo learning a technique. When Byakuya broke out Shuhei Hakutaken Ichigo said "Wow thats incredible. Zangetsu hasn't taught me anything like that yet"
One thing to note that is really understated but in the series is that ichiho is a shiba which mean his riatsu is that of a nobles. And we know from every noble in bleach their power is just different. It would be cool to see a noble version of ichigo before the fall of shiba
I think Soi Fon final Bankai would be a kamikaze like attack. In the sense, these seem to revolve around their ultimate attacks, which is a missile in Soi fon case. Maybe she is clad in a yellow Reiatsu like a stinger and her Mugetsu is herself directly throwing herself and exploding or something haha
This form of ichigo is a mixture of his mugetsu form (Head/face/hair) , His fullbring (exo skeleton top), his quincy powers (fur looking thing under the exo skeleton), his bankai (the three black strips behind him, the black bottom, and the getsuga wings) and his hollow powers (the white claws) It's also a nice small detail that his weapon is a sword/spear hybrid which is a testament of how their fight ended.
I'm almost certain(almost) that Kubo confirmed that the X armor Ichigo wears comes from his Fullbring powers. I believe he said that in one of his many interviews
I remember hearing that Fullbrings eventually absorb other powers, which is why Ginjo isn't in a Shihakusho, and basically why he activates his Fullbring with his Badge and releases Bankai from there, instead of activating a Shikai first. I could see this as what Ichigo's Fullbring would have evolved into eventually, had it not been stolen.
Here's a crazy theory, but I think that version of Ichigo is an Ichigo that was not betrayed by Ginjo. Instead, maybe, he recovered his powers thanks to him and he took the Fullbringer's powers like their fake plan suggested from the beginning. The Fullbring is very evident and very accentuated in the design. Maybe this Ichigo decided that Soul Society are his enemies and he went to fight them again for answers and vent his anger after all he sacrificed for them. He may not necessarily hate them or want to kill them, but he is angry. Byakuya might be the best person to fight/stop him in this instance. Just a wild idea.

It's basically Ginjo's Bankai being used by Ichigo. I mean it even has the insect wings and the added fur and the bit around his forearms and hands are basically identical. But like you said, this is how Ginjo looks after he stole Ichigo's power. There's only slight differences but I immediately thought "Ginjo" when I saw this form. I think it's just Ichigo's bankai with his fullbring "unstolen" with some throwback on Mugetsu.
I think this is the same thing you saying except when ginjo was about to die his full full bring power came back to him. Which made this form a more control version of the final getsaga tenshou, where he's in that state but he doesn't lose his reaitsu afterwards. Probably just weakness his reaitsu where it has to build back up, also why he didn't transend
this could be what byakuya and ichigo would be like after their royal guard training. also i remember watching a king of lightning bleach reading and he had the idea that ichigo would have a final release for each of his powers, such as a bankai, resureccion, a vollstndig, and so on. maybe these are all little pieces of that combined? who knows
The cloth seems also be a reference between the fusion of Tensa Zangetsu (Young YH?) and Hollow Ichigo when Ichigo fought them for the Final Getsuga Tensho. Only that the colors are reverted. I recall Byakuya being one of the characters that got a pill to regain their bankai back from the Sternritter. So he technically has been hollowfied for a short period of time. I don't think those are true forms but just references put together to make a new form design. It would be as if Ichibe could use both his Zanpakuto powers in just one form and I highly doubt his powers aren't at their peak. I doubt we get any new canon forms before the final arc is animated, like Adult Ichigo's Shikai. Honestly, saying this annoys me knowing that Hitsugaya hasn't age a bit. He is one of few characters teased for his young age and potential, and we likely won't see him at full power. Which is probably why we got "Adult" Hitsugaya as a Bankai Technique instead. To me that doesn't really count. It devalues Hitsugaya far more than Ichigo who's growth rate is exponentional even possessing more than double the reitsu of a captain class Shinigami during Fake Karakura Town arc.
Probably the new bankai of Ichigo is that original would have if ginjo didn't stolen his fullbring powers and Rukia give his shinigami + full bring complete
Kind of a cool detail about the ichigo, he has the same hands as the vasto lorde ichigo, so i guess its a mixture of final getsuga, fullbring, and his hollow powers.
As description in-game inform, this ichigo form is combined his soul reaper,hollow and fullbring power together. If ginjo wouldn't had stolen ichigo fullbring and continue teaching ichigo to master the power, then when the 1000years bloodwar arc starts, he would have mastered the powers within him WITHOUT quincy power since before Yhwach Bach came, ichigo didn't know he has it. And truly this form is his "Bankai" for that timeline above. I wonder if his bankai would be broken as in the main timeline though? ^^
I really love ichigo design cause this feels definitely like a amalgamation of ichigos shinigami and fullbring powers prior to the TYBW ARC add a little bit of vasto lorde and quicy touches here and their and qe have the true form of ichigos powers or a complte representation of ichigos identity as a whole.
I love these two forms, I think what would make ichigo look more fused with his hollow, would be if they added either one horn or both horns preferably to make him look more badass. His arms are fused with his hollowfication and it looks nice as hell but two horns would make him look more badass
I think we are looking to Modified Bankai Byakuya(remember Mayuri’s bankai was modified during the TYBW arc) and Fullbringer Bankai Ichigo( remember that Ginjo’s hair changed while he was using his bankai).

I think this is like a rematch battle between byakuya and ichigo. In the trailer I heard byakuya saying something like “finally we cross blades again” so it probably is like a rematch between the two after the lost agent arc

Regarding Ichigo. My theory is that this form is the real combination of his fullbring and soul reaper powers.
Because it is pratically the same form as Ginjou when he stole ichigo's fullbring and turned into bankai.
The black hair is not related to mugetsu. Ginjou's hair turned white when he used Ichigo's fullbring.
Perhaps alternate universe showdown between future Byakuya and an Ichigo that perhaps joined X-cution

Byakuya is wearing his reiatsu like Yamamoto and he's using a single sword that cuts multiple times (like he did in that one filler), this is my speculation based on the animation.
This version of byakuya was absolutely inspired by Yamamoto.

the way i see it, is that ichigos bankai has 3 modes.
qunicy, hollow and a balanced(base bankai) mode.
in the battle against yhwach he used the balanced mode and had not fully developed/mastered the other two.
tekking 101 did a video theories that ichigo can have multiple different modes if he tips the balance of his power to one side just like how he hollowfied against yhwach, meaning the inverse is also possible.
quincy/this new form seems to fall suit to this theory and allowing his bankai to have multiple modes.

Byakuya s might actually be a form he has as a perfected version of Shukei Hakuteiken gameplay wise how he’s able to attack in it like its normal rather than like in soul society arc he could only use one strike this form could be his bankais true power or potential

To me, this is what Ichigo final Bankai should have been in the Thousand Blood War arc. To be fair, I like Kubo style. He always makes Ichigo look good in what ever form he’s in. The Horn of Salvation look is pretty cool, but it’s probably Kubo laziest design. This 5th anniversary look, is simply stunning and elaborate. It use the armor motif that Ichigo has been sporting in the timeskip until the end of the final arc. The fact that it pays homage to Mugetsu makes it more viable as a final form. To be honest, Kubo couldn’t top final form look after Mugetsu. This is my opinion. Thats not to say any forms or looks after Mugetsu didn’t look cool. But Mugetsu just had an other worldly feel to it. Like a specter from another dimension that’s beyond our comprehension. Ichigo has transcended the use of using a sword and has become the sword. Him quoting “I’ve become Getsuga Tensho.” It’s form that reverted my expectations in a good way. And the last form make feel that way was Ichigo first Bankai.

tbh since hers was unlocked by ichibe... that should be her final form bankai. i read somewhere(its been awhile) that MOST "worn" bankai are in the final forms. if you noticed alot of bankai revealed MOST are NOT worn but rather wielded. but the ones AFTER they see ichibe(ichigo, rukia, renji. not sure about byakuya as we dont see his bankai after his palace trip)
@@jason101386 We do see Byakuya's Bankai after the Soul Palace training, both Gokei and Senkei, and it's the same as before. And Ichigo's is no longer clad-type once he gets his true Bankai, all the power is focused in the sword. So I think it just happens to be that Rukia and Renji's Bankais are clad type.

Well considering Byakuya had to get his Senbonzakura reforged to fix his Bankai which I assume since Renji had to do the same for his Zabimaru to get it's true Bankai I'm pretty sure this would've been Byakuya's new Senbonzakura's bankai if Jump didn't rush Kubo to finish the manga.
The same could be said for Ichigo but after we got the Quincy form and now this I think his Bankai is more than we thought it is.
If we can remember he has 2 main sources of power Shinigami and Hollow fused into one and the Quincy powers which is his own seperate thing.
When he learned his true nature of his powers instead of letting the old man be assimilated by Zangetsu Ichigo decided to infuse his Quincy powers into his Asauchi giving birth to the two swords we know today, long sword for Shinigami/Hollow and the short sword for Quincy.
For abilities we know he not only retained the Getsuga Tenshou, but he made atleast two variants of it the Jujisho which allows him to fire two Getsuga's with his swords in the shape of a cross and the Grand-Ray Cero infused Getsuga which he can only use in his controlled Hollow form, speaking of that Hollow form Ichigo can only access that when the balance of his powers shift to the Hollows favor waking him up and that's just for Shikai.
Now this is where my theory for his bankais come in, let's look at the balance of power when Ichigo's powers are a harmony the swords are black, but when he allows the Hollow to wake up the long sword turns white and he turns Hollow and when he uses bankai in that form we get a sword that looks strangely similar to his past Shikais with the long blade working as the swords Hollow Mask.
Then we got the Quincy form which is in my opinion Tensa Zangetsu after Ichigo's powers shift to the Quincy powers favor which would turn the short knife into a bow hypothetically.
Finally we got this new form that's coming out which seems to be a more controlled Mugetsu and when I looked clearly at it I can see hints of his Oken attire so this wouldn't be his form if Ginjo didn't steal his fullbring in my opinion (Since if we recall Fullbring is basically Hollow powers for humans by pulling the sword from anything in the Bleachverse) so I assume even if it was stolen the power remained within Ichigo since after getting his powers back he gets Fullbring tattoos which also to me was a sign he accepted his Hollow and it was beginning to become the main source of power again. Also we should remember that Mugetsu(Final Getsuga) is basically all of Ichigo's powers working in harmony, but at the cost of losing his powers.
So I believe this new form for Ichigo is Tensa Zangetsu if the balance of Ichigo's powers weren't disturbed and he accesses a more controlled version of Mugetsu (which his bankai represents compressing his huge and vast spiritual powers in a more small and controlled form), plus Ichigo was made a war power because of his unknown potential so perhaps that's his Zanpakuto's true ability the unknown potential of his soruces of power.
So put simply, this is a version of Ichigo that incorporates nearly all of his forms (with the exception of some hollow aspects with the exception of red Getsuga I guess?)
What about the sword itself? It seems reminiscent of White/Shiro's arms during the fight between him against Ishin and Masaki in the TYBW arc.

Mugetsu fullbring. I think it's the human transformation. Quincygo is like ichigos Quincy (Bankai). Horn of salvation is shinigami/ hollow transformation. This is human/fullbring transformation like bankai. He has 3 different forms
I liked someone’s comment stating that these are “beyond Bankai” forms, like the beyond resurrection forms. My theory however is that these forms are a take on what it would look like if Ichigo decided to go against the Soul Society so he ends up fighting Byakuya again. It has a bit of holes but it would help make sense as to why they’re fighting “again”

Off the wall theory. This Ichigo is an alternate timeline one where he is a fullbringer mainly or awakened those powers first and later had some minor soul reaper powers awakened and he has black hair like his dad does instead of the orange. Maybe he was a fullbringer for a while before the beginning of bleach in the original time and he had his soul reaper power activated by Rukia still which leads him to fighting Byakuya like in the orignal, but maybe in this timeline he is more of the head of his household and not necessarily a gotei 13 member or was formerly and so his regal nature is represented by this form.

Ichigos looks like a a fully realized Mugetsu, where he’s not hiding his face, which signified his refusal to accept himself as a hollow hybrid, now that it’s gone he’s been unleashed
Although I've never played BBS, I've kept up with most of the original designs that were made for the game. Such as the beyond Resurreccion for the Espadas, TYBW, also CYFOW being adapted into the mobile game to name a few. As for Ichigo & Byakuya's forms for the 5th anniversary, they look fantastic! I visit Bleach's subreddit often, which is how I found out about these new forms and after reading some replies/comments I thought made the most sense, along with what you said, I wanted to give my take on what Ichigo and Byakuya's forms are inspired from.
Ichigo's upper attire is an homage to his final Fullbring form before Ginjo pilfered it from him, and presumably what he would look like (similar to Ginjo) if his Fullbring and Soul Reaper powers merged while in Bankai. And Ichigo's Reiatsu wings though! The flaring coattails are definitely from Ichigo's Fullbring Bankai, but with the cross portion where his upper and lower torso is being similar to his TYBW incarnation post Soul Palace training.
The next aesthetics for Ichigo is the hair, which some say could be inspired from Ichigo's Final Getsuga Tensho, or even in the comments below, Ichigo's hair turning black because Ginjo's hair turned white or maybe based off their respective original hollow forms, which I will get to. Also, his eyes remain the same color instead of turning red.
Lastly, Tensa Zangetsu. The sword's hand guard, jagged edges and blade are all based off of White's original form.
On to Byakuya. He's certainly garbed in his power, as Yamamoto was with his Bankai, Zanka no Tachi's second form Zanjitsu Gokui. Takes a heavy homage to his final technique, Shukei Hakuteiken, but with a more profound appearance. The angelic wings in my opinion are the best look, along with the sword. The circle that's attached to the wings is a halo that's behind Byakuya, giving him the appearance of an angel, but in Soul Reaper form. I also like the fluffed collar that surrounds his neck. I think this presumably would be what Byakuya's Shukei Hakuteiken looks like after his Royal palace training, but one could dream. And for some reason Byakuya has 2 locks of gray or white hair.

both ichigos weapon and byakuyas weapons are lances by the looks of how it starts off big at the base/hilt and then thin to the top.

It makes sense, brave souls has given us multiple what if Ichigos and all of them seem to be Ichigo taking one of his powers to their limit, in my opinion, mugetsu is the full power of his pure shinigami powers, we got his fully hollow but controlled version as well, his full power Quincy version, and now finally his full power as a fullbringer
The 2nd anniversary Ichigo was supposed to be if he took 100% control of his hollow powers and was also a bit of a new design because Ichigo never had hollow powers active without he's clothes being damaged before and other reasons, the 2019 new year version was if he took 100% control of his quincy powers which was a completely new design and now one Ichigo resembling his fullbring a lot for 5th anniversary, it could be that this is a "if he took 100% control" form for his fullbring and that may be KLab's plan, to make a "if he took 100% control" for each of his powers so I'm hoping for a "if he took 100% control of his shinigami powers" and maybe one "if he took 100% control of all his powers at the same time"
The 100% of all powers, may be Klab's final character. That'd be freaking awesome!

Personally I thought it was pretty clear from the brief glimpse we saw of the event story during the livestream that this is them having a rematch. That's the reason for all the symbolism towards their original fight at Sokyoku Hill. These forms are clearly from some point after Ichigo regains his powers.

Ichigos design is incredible. It definitely pulls a lot of different details from various forms he shows throughout the series, but his zanpakuto is really interesting. I think it actually looks like one of the bladed arms on white, the hollow that aizen created. Very cool character and I’m so ready to spend all my spirit orbs to get him :)

There seems to be a large focus on Ichigo's hollow side with the Fullbring influence and the design of the blade. It was his fight with Byakuya that the hollow half of Zangetsu first took over. That might be the connection.

I see this form as Ichigo's Fullbring and Shinigami powers clashing making this, they mention its very unstable and he can't control it and immense power like that would be uncontrollable. I would, it's a lot of fun, new designs some time, characters never seen in other games before (for example CFYOW) and playing with your favourite characters seeing cool special moves are always nice (especially hearing the voice actors), I warn you though KLab isn't very generous to free to play players but you can still get what you want sometimes if you work hard for it or well... it's mostly about luck like other gacha games, I hope you start playing and enjoy it!!! Good luck getting your favorite characters!

Yes and no. It’s a fun game, but it really depends on you if you want to stick around. It suffers from what most gacha games suffer from, a major incentive to spend money on it. Over the years it has gotten worse with this but I stick around because again, it can be fun especially with friends.

The final GT or Mugetsu is described by Ichigo as him becoming GT itself. So this is not some upgraded form of that. It is Ichigo learning a technique. When Byakuya broke out Shuhei Hakutaken Ichigo said "Wow thats incredible. Zangetsu hasn't taught me anything like that yet"

One thing to note that is really understated but in the series is that ichiho is a shiba which mean his riatsu is that of a nobles. And we know from every noble in bleach their power is just different. It would be cool to see a noble version of ichigo before the fall of shiba

I think Soi Fon final Bankai would be a kamikaze like attack. In the sense, these seem to revolve around their ultimate attacks, which is a missile in Soi fon case. Maybe she is clad in a yellow Reiatsu like a stinger and her Mugetsu is herself directly throwing herself and exploding or something haha
This form of ichigo is a mixture of his mugetsu form (Head/face/hair) , His fullbring (exo skeleton top), his quincy powers (fur looking thing under the exo skeleton), his bankai (the three black strips behind him, the black bottom, and the getsuga wings) and his hollow powers (the white claws)
It's also a nice small detail that his weapon is a sword/spear hybrid which is a testament of how their fight ended.

I'm almost certain(almost) that Kubo confirmed that the X armor Ichigo wears comes from his Fullbring powers. I believe he said that in one of his many interviews
I remember hearing that Fullbrings eventually absorb other powers, which is why Ginjo isn't in a Shihakusho, and basically why he activates his Fullbring with his Badge and releases Bankai from there, instead of activating a Shikai first. I could see this as what Ichigo's Fullbring would have evolved into eventually, had it not been stolen.
Here's a crazy theory, but I think that version of Ichigo is an Ichigo that was not betrayed by Ginjo. Instead, maybe, he recovered his powers thanks to him and he took the Fullbringer's powers like their fake plan suggested from the beginning.
The Fullbring is very evident and very accentuated in the design. Maybe this Ichigo decided that Soul Society are his enemies and he went to fight them again for answers and vent his anger after all he sacrificed for them. He may not necessarily hate them or want to kill them, but he is angry.
Byakuya might be the best person to fight/stop him in this instance.

It's basically Ginjo's Bankai being used by Ichigo. I mean it even has the insect wings and the added fur and the bit around his forearms and hands are basically identical. But like you said, this is how Ginjo looks after he stole Ichigo's power. There's only slight differences but I immediately thought "Ginjo" when I saw this form. I think it's just Ichigo's bankai with his fullbring "unstolen" with some throwback on Mugetsu.

Which made this form a more control version of the final getsaga tenshou, where he's in that state but he doesn't lose his reaitsu afterwards. Probably just weakness his reaitsu where it has to build back up, also why he didn't transend

The cloth seems also be a reference between the fusion of Tensa Zangetsu (Young YH?) and Hollow Ichigo when Ichigo fought them for the Final Getsuga Tensho. Only that the colors are reverted.
I recall Byakuya being one of the characters that got a pill to regain their bankai back from the Sternritter. So he technically has been hollowfied for a short period of time.
I don't think those are true forms but just references put together to make a new form design. It would be as if Ichibe could use both his Zanpakuto powers in just one form and I highly doubt his powers aren't at their peak.
I doubt we get any new canon forms before the final arc is animated, like Adult Ichigo's Shikai. Honestly, saying this annoys me knowing that Hitsugaya hasn't age a bit. He is one of few characters teased for his young age and potential, and we likely won't see him at full power. Which is probably why we got "Adult" Hitsugaya as a Bankai Technique instead. To me that doesn't really count. It devalues Hitsugaya far more than Ichigo who's growth rate is exponentional even possessing more than double the reitsu of a captain class Shinigami during Fake Karakura Town arc.

Kind of a cool detail about the ichigo, he has the same hands as the vasto lorde ichigo, so i guess its a mixture of final getsuga, fullbring, and his hollow powers.
As description in-game inform, this ichigo form is combined his soul reaper,hollow and fullbring power together. If ginjo wouldn't had stolen ichigo fullbring and continue teaching ichigo to master the power, then when the 1000years bloodwar arc starts, he would have mastered the powers within him WITHOUT quincy power since before Yhwach Bach came, ichigo didn't know he has it. And truly this form is his "Bankai" for that timeline above. I wonder if his bankai would be broken as in the main timeline though? ^^
I really love ichigo design cause this feels definitely like a amalgamation of ichigos shinigami and fullbring powers prior to the TYBW ARC add a little bit of vasto lorde and quicy touches here and their and qe have the true form of ichigos powers or a complte representation of ichigos identity as a whole.

I love these two forms, I think what would make ichigo look more fused with his hollow, would be if they added either one horn or both horns preferably to make him look more badass. His arms are fused with his hollowfication and it looks nice as hell but two horns would make him look more badass

I think we are looking to Modified Bankai Byakuya(remember Mayuri’s bankai was modified during the TYBW arc) and Fullbringer Bankai Ichigo( remember that Ginjo’s hair changed while he was using his bankai).
Ichigo form I think is more heavily influenced by his hollow half since the lost agent ichigo form before reclaiming his soul reaper powers.
interesting video, i would recommend working on editing a bit tho as you often talk about appearance things without showing us reference to the part your talking about
This is THE BEST Ichigo design imo. I'd prefer this over the half horn design he used in the end. There is a true symmetry to this.

Did anyone notice what zanpakutou Ichigo is wielding ? Its the zanpakutou of the hollow that Aizen summoned after he hollowified Hachigen , Shinji , Kensei and the rest of the Vaizards .
if u look under ichigo during the animation right before he leaps u can see ichigo's fullbring X sign on the ground.
I think this is like a rematch battle between byakuya and ichigo. In the trailer I heard byakuya saying something like “finally we cross blades again” so it probably is like a rematch between the two after the lost agent arc

It is interesting because Ichigo fuses two blades together like in the final arc. It could be an older Ichigo. These can be after the final arc.

I think this form is basically what his tybw melded hollow form would look like if he never lost his powers. its design emulates final getsuga tensho kinda like how his previous anniversary form emulated vasto lorde
This should've been what Ichigo became for his final bankai.
