That was interesting. Bought it, threw it on my lead-vocal and indeed, got a awesome result after 15 minutes. For comparison I have the lead vocal copied about four times now.
One with stock plugins like I used in the beginning, one with separate plugins for the several steps, one with one does it all like ozone, nectar, quantum, etc. and now one with the sheps-stuff.
Works great without input. Compared to the other it has less heights overall, but pushed the heights to max which resulted in a fatter body, without lacking clarity. Put the sheps 73 at the beginning, alternatevely the tg-mastering-chain after the compressor, which might help opening up a little, but I'm pretty impressed with the result.

@@RadiumRecordsHollywood I thought about throwing it into your live review and I will one day for sure, 'cause I got a lot out of your videos to make stuff better, but right now, I'm trying to figure out certain things, like M/S processing and other stuff I heard of but hadn't had the time for. Right now, it would feel like wasting your time...

You can duplicate any module in the insert slot. So it had the extra eq built in

i think it sounds really good. fair price too for sure. yours sounded a bit better, but im sure you can dial it in and get pretty close im guessin?
I think it gets pretty damn close with just the one plug... But yea, a couple more tweaks and it's exactly where I want!

I was told not to miw eith eyes but with ears. However for the non-experienced beginner some visualisation of the eq or whatever is immensely helpful. There does not seem to much in this plugin except for the VU meter. Am I right, that this is a downside? Would like to hear opinions on this special aspect of the plugin with regards to beginners.
You’re right but also mixing without the visuals although harder, it will make you a better mixer I think, I am hybrid, I do both and I think that is the best way to go for most of us
Can you insert another brand, like Fabfilter?
How is that possible , the sound from monitors should be going straight to your mic, but in video , we can't hear it....how to deal with this ?
It's magic! Haha... Just playin... I use a screen capture software and a camera to shoot... I can mute the mic whenever I'm playing back.
