Just had my f150 lifted 6 inches with 35s. I like it a lot feels much better. I did want 8 inches of lift with 37s but as a daily driver I feel that 6 is good enough. 👍
Congrats that’s exciting! I agree this size lift is much more useable and practical and less “show” if you will. What type lift did you go with?
@@AndrewNobleOfficial I was on a budget after installing four 10" subs and a 5000k amp so I wanted a zone lift with fox shocks but the shipping was going to take forever. I went with the RC lift and their new Vertex coil overs. 😎 they had it shipped and installed in less then one week!
@@robinthrill3r7 good stuff! Yea pro comp doesn’t even make the coil overs anymore for my setup so I’d have to go with Fox or another brand.
Where can I see it. I got mine lifted, 7 inch lift with 37 inch tires I don’t think mine looks big enough lol
37s on a 8” lift looses way to much turning circle, you would have to run stoppers just like on your 6” which cancels 15% steering lock , I have mine now with 12” bulletproof with 40s and now I gained more lock now .

I agree, the F150 is tough to beat all the way around imo. I own a 2019 XLT Sport 5.0 and it runs like a champion.

Honestly, one of the more tasteful lift and tire setup for a truck I've seen on TH-cam. I absolutely hate how trucks look when you get into the Bro Truck/Pavement Princess type of lift and tire setups where the tires don't even fit under the wheel wells anymore and the whole truck takes up 1.5 lanes on the highway and people have to drive on the shoulder to avoid making a head on collision.

YESS! I agree the 18-20's look better than the newer ones. Got the 18'f150 supercrew and want to do a lift but haven't went thru w it cuz of all the bad things I hear about lifting trucks such as bad MPG.

good looking truck. Well done! I have a 2016 F 150 Reg. Cab XLT, 5.0 Coyote, FX4. It has 12,700 miles on it. I'm thinking about putting on a set of King coilovers and Total Chaos UCA's.

Very useful video. A question. I love the look of your F150 Do you remember what specific name of the white color that truck came in? These days in late 2023 I see reference to I believe they go by something like Oxford White, Star White and I think a third, and I would want the brightest, whitest white, which is what yours looks like. Contrasted with the black appearance package. Thanks. Personally, I plan on adding a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover to mine when I get it. That will make it even hotter looking.

Is there anyway to lower a f150 after they cut the frame on a 4 in lift

I had pucks in for a year and hated em. The factory coilovers on FX4s suck. I switched to eibach coilovers and the truck rides so much smoother.

Comes down to what suspension you have installed on your truck, installing a fabtech or procomp suspension isn’t going to better your ride. With a lift/suspension you get what you pay for (most of the time) for example installing a Carli suspension system will make your own panties drop
Great point Jeremy! You are one hundred percent correct. Especially if you are going to actually use it offroad.

if your tires were wearing in the middle it’s not alignment, it’s bc your tire pressure was too high.

@@chasesgarage4144 thank you so much! The tires were wearing on the inside not in the middle. The firs 5-6 inches of the tire were significantly lower than the outside.

It can be placed 3 inches in front. or recommends 2.5 in front. spencer
The front CV’s don’t spin under normal operation so the cv angles are not as import as it used to be. Unless you’re constantly in 4wd

No it was quite easy. Took 5 minutes
no those are easy if i can do it anybody can
You shouldn’t have needed to cut anything, pro comp lifts from 4 “ to 6” and fab tec for f150s no need to cut , I’ve installed lots and I drive an F150 on a 12” Bulletproof lift on 40” tires and don’t have any issues and mine has been on for 7 years . If I want I could put mine back to stock in a afternoon.

Yea it’s 6’10. It fits in my standard garage and will clear 7ft.
Mine has 6 inch rc lift with 35s 12.50 x 20s and a mbrp exhaust

It’s not welded in, please pay attention to the details.
The subframe has to be welded for a lift kit on a IFS truck
you can go back to stock after lifting it. lol just keep your stock parts if you think you will go back.
I love the look of my lifted F150 but it messed up my tow quality.

Is there any rubbing with your wheel and tire setup?
My entire family got Covid right after Christmas. I was weary of the vaccine but I’m actually glad I got it because it barely affected me and my wife. We were still pretty sick but it was manageable. The only person in our family that wasn’t vaccinated ended up in the hospital for 10 days and almost died. But either way, enjoyed your vid. I have a lifted Ram but the gas mileage is beyond horrendous so I’m looking to trade it in on a year old F150 and do another build. What kind of gas mileage do you get with yours?
Wow glad you’re okay and recovered! That was the timing it seems everyone was getting it. We were blessed my daughter never got it. Thank you for checking the video out appreciate it s ton. Gas mileage is still pretty bad unless I’m driving a long distance where I can get 18ish. It generally stays around 11-12 on E85
