Daryl was chosen by a Korean song producer after watching several covers that he made in youtube. The Korean gave him a record deal, to sing Korean songs in English for them to sell worldwide. And i think this song is one of them.

The English translation was written by Daryl Ong himself. I'm a huge fan of Daryl since he entered the voice Philippines. He was my bet to win. I just saw Daryl Ong in the grocery yesterday in a mall. He has a face mask but I recognized his voice asking the location of Spam from the grocery staff.I could recognize his built, height and skin tone since I have seen him multiple times already in that mall in the past years. He is such a good singer, too bad he was ejected from his home station ABS CBN, hopefully he could have new opportunities in other TV stations. He is one of my favorite singers along with Morisette, Michael Pangilinan and Jay- ar.
Yes Daryl is king of rips.. and amazing interpretation of song is second to none.. I hope you considered my request again and again on Daryl's covers on "RUDE' AND THINKING OUT LOUD'
So, you've now come to his cover which I call 'the cover that keeps on giving' - aka a watershed moment - and this is how the story goes: (this is a long post, warning here)
1. Korean record producer Shin Ins Soo (I think I scrambled the name) saw this video and contracted Daryl to sing the English translations of two of the Korean songs that he has produced throughout his career for his album REPLAY.
2. Last December (2019), Daryl uploaded a cover of Jim Brickman's *'MY DESTINY'* - a collab with Wonji, a Korean singer handled by Shin Ins Soo (who also co-produced this cover with Daryl).
3. Last March (2020), Jim Brickman made a reaction video on around 5 videos covering his songs (curated/selected by his staff from the TH-cam sea of covers) and Daryl's cover was the first that he reacted to. He was so impressed by the cover that he featured Daryl and Wonji separately in one of his livestreams. He also mentioned that he wanted to take them on tour with him (wouldn't it be great when that comes true).
4. In that livestream, Daryl and Jim did a quarantine collab and Jim graciously allowed Daryl to upload their collab on Daryl's channel - *'BEAUTIFUL AS YOU'* (with the 'Cinderella' vibe, so here is the Disney prince feels you've been talking about)
Et voila - two 'Disney prince feels' covers for you to react to: *'MY DESTINY'* and *'BEAUTIFUL AS YOU'* :)
That duet with Wonji is a dream! I love that one! Hope they do that reaction. 🥰🥰
