  • In this video, we will see how to make an automatic street light circuit using LDR and BC547 on the breadboard. With this simple dark sensor, we can control a 220v light using a relay. During the video, I have shared the complete circuit diagram.
You can replace the 10k resistor with other values to change the sensitivity of the dark sensor.

After watching the video you can easily make the LDR darkness sensor light using BC547 at home to control a 220v light. I have mentioned all the components details in the darkness sensor circuit
Components required for the Dark Sensor
    1. BC547 Transistor,
    2. LDR
    3. 220-ohm Resistor
    4. 10k Resistor
    5. LED 5mm
    6. 1N4007 Diode
    7. SPDT Relay 5V
    8. AC Bulb 220V
    9. 5V DC source or Mobile Charger
    10. Breadboard

Love your videos and how simple you make them look. I'm trying to get the pbc Gerber file on your site to order in JPCB.

@@TechStudyCell i bought an unknown power transformer (was told it would be good for this Fender 5F2 tube amp) that I used for my project. I didn't think anything of it at first because all the wires were the same colors as the original Fender diagram/schematics, but after when completing my build, my rectifier tube, 5y3 keeps over heating and burning out. I already went through 2 - 5y3 and afraid to put another in until i figure this out. When I measure the leads: Primary is 120 vac. (i'm from the U.S.), 7 secondary wires: 2 Yellow wires 39 vac, 2 Red wires 93 vac, and 2 Green wires 10 vac. The last wire is 1 red/yellow stripped that I grounded. Now using your formula: Yellow = 3.0v, Red = 1.2v, and Green = 12v. I am trying to figure out the voltage coming out of the power transformer because the vac may be too much for the 5y3 tubes.
