Doing a power bomb is the worst move to stiff on because it’s so obvious who’s the one being an ass
Or you can just mess up mistakes happen tard
Nah the powerbomb is also and can be just a hard move to do with the slightest of wrong movement. It looks like you have to jump, the person hitting it has to help you and pretty much guide you all while your pretty much doing a front flip and then you have to use your core to lean up and get in position. It's one of the easier said then done things

Give credit where credit is due, despite the beef they had? Dave didn't purposely hurt Booker with that botched PB. He tried hard to prevent him from getting hurt by it. Booker ought to be thankful that Dave didn't try to dismiss his priority not to hurt him

He initially sandbagged it to ruin his finish, but went up to still complete the move. Batista didn't 'eventually hoist' him up...Booker did.
He literally is the only reason it worked. He lifted himself up, you guys are such marks. Anything, anyway, any mental gymnastics to feel like you're part of the kayfabe.
Its a little bit mire than that. When Batista got moved to SD in 2005 he thought he was better than everyone in the locker room. Booker confronted him about it on not respecting the SD stars and Batista looking down on everyone, that is when the fight happened.

And I hear “pile driver” so I’m like ok, didn’t really feel like taking something like that without talking it over first but still did it. Whatever, no issue. Get backstage and he asks what happened with the powerbomb? I asked what he was talking about he said I piledrove myself when he was trying to powerbomb me. Apparently he didn’t speak clearly enough when he had my ears trapped in his thighs and I didn’t hear him right. Glad he protected me though could’ve been rough
When I was training for pro wrestling, someone had sandbagged me and almost made me rip my back. The dude was kicked out that same day for doing it again. He was doing it because he couldn’t work with who he wanted.

No matter if Booker did it on purpose or not, kudos to Batista for not completing the move and getting readjusted before potentially breaking Booker's neck.
Doesn't need two to cooperate for a powerbomb as my little brother found out many times during our childhood
It's harder to do on a 300 pound grown adult man at the end of a 15 minute match that you've been wrestling spending your strength than it is to do on a 50 pound kid.

It was an unfortunate accident, Droz said that himself, he held no ill feelings towards D'Lo, nor did he blame him. The two remained close friends all the way up until Droz's demise. Even though it was an accident, D'Lo has to carry that guilt for the rest of his life. Nothing was intentional, it could happen to any of those wrestlers, it's the chance they take.
He wasn't born to be a destroyer he was born to be a wrestler.....

Poor Dee - Lo Brown.....we have the Drossdov incident where it wasn't really Dee-Lo's fault as Hus opponent was wearing a loose shirt which hindered his ability to get a good hold on DD, even DD himself knows his shirt is what caused the issue.....then I see the beginning of this video and this time Dee-Lo was doing another maneuver and his opponent had bad timing but this time he was able to control Val's landing but any it must really suck for Dee-Lo having to live with knowing he paralyzed a co worker even though it nothing could have prevented it except for Booking the match to have DD win.....

Batista Bomb is probably the one of the most safest yet difficult to execute powerbomb since it's a sit-out powerbomb. Unlike the typical powerbombs, his legs when can somehow help minimize his opponents injury IF it was done properly.. It's not as safe as Taker's Last Ride or maybe both are vice versa in my opinion..
Every single time DLo did that powerbomb it looked dangerous aside from Droz. Someone should have had the balls to say either do it right or stop doing it long before Droz was hurt.

obviously a few of those guys would be saved for a big 4 but when Sheamus gets a World Title in 6 months and they've run "tests" with Cena feuding with rookies or jobbers they could make something work
Give a few of these guys a faction, or slap a few gimmick matches for a Smack down exclusive PPV and it would've worked. You could even do something where some audacious shit goes down and like Chavo or Dykstra wins at the PPV but Teddy reverses the decision..Batista remains champion and they conclude the feud in a street fight/cage on SD
They could've fleshed it out and had Tista be the dominant face who is somewhat cocky with his position in the company (and wins over HHH/Taker/Henry) causing everyone to gun for him. Guys like Rey, Kennedy, and MVP would be more believable but Flair could think hes got one more run, Kendrick was WWE champ for 5 minutes and it only takes 3 seconds, Dykstra a rookie with tons of promise but stumbled a bit could win the US Title and then want to become a double champion belt collector and find a rocket strapped to him
Rey/Helms (could switch back to Hurricane) could see Tistas attitude as abhorrent and now here is their chance to prove that the Cruiserweight Champion is the superior champion and carry both weight classes
Its Smackdown! They can pull off anything and its the Land of Opportunity

Can we all agree that D-lo brown should have never been allowed to use a power bomb as the guy clearly wasnt able to lift guys his size at all. He paralyzed one man and almost a couple others. Then claims that he and drawz dont know what went wrong. From what ive seen what went wrong is when brown isnt able to lift somone after they jump he doesnt bail on the move and instead just drops them on their head with force instead of guiding them down.
Batista usually struggled when doing the BB on taller guys
