We drive 90 minutes to go to Taupo. Summer is good but really there's nothing there. Only KFC, Burger King and fast food outlets lol. My family have lived on this lake for centuries.

Found it - it's Ernest Kemp Steamboat - thanks! The sailboats are sexier, but for the same price wine and pizza sounds great. The sailboats are BYO.
