    Love it!!! I might try it on a darker pillow case and see how the cord stands out against it.

    Awesome idea. Thank you. I started to make this and cut 16 cords to 4.5 feet (137cm) for the same size cushion but I can already tell at my 4th line of square knots that I will not have enough cord to finish. Have I misunderstood the measurements? Not to worry for now, I might try to finish it off short with out securing the bottom to the cushion cover. :-/

      @lstnhsmzk 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also got confused doing the math! We dont use inch, feet or yard in Germany so I had to convert it to cm. If I understood the instructions right, each cord should be 6 times longer than the pillow. If hers is 15,5 inch long, this makes it 93 inch or 7,75 FT. She might have had a typo mistake and 4,5FT is definitely too short to complete the project. I'm just starting it. Wish me luck 😅

      How annoying I didn't see this comment before I cut all my 4.5 ft chords!!

    Thanks so much for sharing, I love the idea and tried but despite my pillow case was the same size as yours, i didn't have enough cord to finish :-( will try again with longer cords.

    Hello, I want to start macrame and I just bought 3 mm braided cords instead of twisted one ☹️ The project I had in mind was a piece with fringes, but I can’t do it with braided cords. Can I do a pillow with it? Even though it is smaller diameter?

    Hey guys. I’m new to this so please don’t cut off my head for asking ...but can you use yarn?Cuz I don’t have Macramé cord.

    • @EmilyFaith
      @EmilyFaith  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey and welcome! You can always ask questions here, i just may not have the answer sometimes lol but i have never tried using yarn to make a full macrame piece. I have used it as an addition to a macrame wall hanging but it might be do able? Macrame isn't to expensive as well. Some of my first macrame pieces i bought the cord from home depot.
