imagine Rargh using a harmonised staff to manually cast blood barrage when he had a kodai that can autocast and has better magic attack along with some melee def bonuses lol. Harm staff is only a tick faster when auto casting from the standard spellbook.. Either way nice play by Rargh; his strat of just buying all the good weapons really paid off.

Next time you should make it so each person can only have a limited number of bids per item like 3 or 5. not super compelling when link just ups your bet by 5m every time.
What if they did a silent auction with having fans/viewers serve as the auctioneer in each city so Link and Rargh have to run around to see what each item is and what the current bid is at. Only allow a certain number of teleports to each location so if they run out they have to decide if it is worth it to run there and miss out on other items.
You should add an auction challenge, both players have 200m to spend. Random gear on the wheel from runite to ghrazi rapier. But the catch is. You dont know what is being auctioned so you have to bid randomly and hope you bid more than the other to win the item. It would be the most random fight ever.
Have an idea for a challenge, instead of bidding on gear, bid on skills you can train to get gear (hp auto included for both so if you get a combat skill, you can kill for gear)
I want to see wheels with specific combat styles. So a wheel that spins only magic gear for example then you guys get like 5 spins in each item slot and see who comes up with the better mage gear. I know the combat triangle exists but it would be neat to do a "mage vs melee'" and "range vs mage" fight for example when you guys both know what combat style you're going against. Also, a timed bidding challenge would be cool to see where you increase the number of items to about 17-18 but only have 1 minute to bid per item.
idea for a bid off! you each have your own wheel and don't know what the other has. Take turns spinning. Then you can either lie about what you got to keep prices low, or you can flat out tell them in hopes they think you're lieing!
I love the bidding challenges!! It is so hard to tell what is the meta and what isn't simply because there are so many possibilities. Plus, it is fun to see the mind games too.
Maybe there could be some quick fights after a few auctions to either give more money going into the next round or give a food upgrade or potions for the final fight. I think each auction item would have to have a "backup" item a tier below it that the loser would get (either for free or for a portion of the winning bid) with each fight just being with equipment and no food (or prayer?). Dunno how the balance would work, but it could be interesting to add some extra variety to auction episodes.

The money isn't irrelevant. It creates a certain "feel" of the video, as we are dealing with expensive weapoms. It's part of being an entertainer. I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this :D
They both had the same rng. Link went hard on dumb items and when rng blessed him with a rapier. He spent dumb and dipped under rargh thus preventing him from having a great 1h with those two sheilds.
Can someone tell me why the staff is better than the wand? Because I'm looking at the stats, and the wand is tied or better in every single way. The wiki seems to say that neither of them have a special attack, so wtf does the nightmare staff do to make it as good when it should be less accurate, less defensive, situationally tied in attack speed and has the same damage.
@@RajFallen The wiki says the wand is 4 speed, the staff is 5, but the staff goes down to 4 with autocasting standard, doesnt that mean that the kodai is the same speed even with standard, while being more accurate and more defensive? Like, even under the best circumstances for the staff, it looks worse.

You guys should do a silent auction, you both get a list of like 12 items and a set amount of cash. Then you explain your plans to the viewers and place bids on all of them at once (privately). Then after all bids are placed you go through each one together and highest bid on each item wins that item. That might work better because the bidding here was hard to watch.

Rargh’s strat worked a lot better in this challenge than previous bidding wars because there was no guarantee of what else was going to come up.

rargh thought it could cast ancients a tick faster which is huge but it can only cast regular spell book faster
