Greetings, beautiful motorcycle and a great engine, the only drawback is the front drum brake, when you cross rivers or puddles of water and the drum gets wet it was almost impossible to stop the motorcycle, greetings from Guatemala.
Hi i have same model. Making a new fuel tank from kevlar now. Bike is amazing. Just by changing the exhaust silencer i got easy 3hp more. Cheers from South Africa
I had 2 of the TT600 and I also had a WR450. The WR was quicker, the 600 was a very strong thumper, but heavy. The TT600 was a great bike for desert and mountain riding.
My current -02 XT600E compared to a -05 husky cr125 i used to have the xt feels like an old dog. While the power output is pretty much the same, around 35hp , the xt Do have lots more torque but you can really feel the extra 70+ kg.. i know the XT is a dual sport and not a motocross but i think that is the big difference between a wr 450 and say a tt600. The 450s are much lighter and easier to handle.

What kind of exhaust do you have there? I can't find any manufactures for 'slip on' exhaust for my 600.
