My favorite part is Kenzo saying that they should push Hiroko to be a politician and seeing him be a strong supporter of Hiroko. She was his mouthpiece in WWE and he pushed her to go into politics. As an Asian, I really stan their relationship! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I read somewhere (in an interview with a former WWE creative team member) that their kimono match was originally booked as a contrasting mockery/parody of Howard Finkel's & Harvey Wippleman's infamous tuxedo match on RAW from Jan '95 ... but it actually turned out to be a big fan favorite, and alot more memorable than the aforementioned tuxedo match, lol 😎 *EDIT: Sorry, that tuxedo match was on RAW, not SummerSlam!

Vince’s original idea for Kenzo was for him to be Japanese emperor name Hirohito. You can find promo videos of that character on TH-cam. Also in Shinsuke Nakamura’s book, he mentioned that WWE was looking for a Japanese wrestler at the time. They were looking at Kenzo or Tanahashi. Interesting facts there!

I met Mrs. Hiroko Suzuki and her husband Mr. Kenzo during their time with the WWE who were very nice and polite to me at a store in Manhattan NYC called H-Q Videos at the time when I used to purchase Pro-Wrestling NOAH, Japanese Puroresu DVD's. I remember the dirt sheets hyping up Kenzo Suzuki and Hiroko. My friends and I were excited about Hiroko and we asked "is she a wrestler?" now we got our answer. They were epic and memorable, for sure! I liked that era of Smackdown!
I feel good knowing Hiroko found success after WWE. Many times I felt bad for her because i thought some of the creative was mean spirited (and I am furthest thing from an easily offended person!). Great interview!
