    Hmm...maybe I'm doing something wrong but using your method the second throw seems to be rotated, I only get a good parallel knot when I pass my hands in opposite directions (right hand from right to left for instance and left from left to right, not left to right and right to left respectively)

      yeah he forgot to alternate sides, the free end should alternate of which side they end the video didn't do that.
