I know fishing isn't everyone's thing but if you combine the effects of Kelp Dumplings and the complete fishing set you can get a bunch of Starlight Nautilus very fast. 44% chance to double a catch hits pretty often and is a bit busted but the time commitment to complete the fishing set makes it justifiable I suppose.
I tend to separate my buff foods from melee and range damage and mix and match defensive buff foods depending on what i have available. This is what i mostly use for bosses, i dont always have the fishes cause fishing is a pain even with the autofishing but i find that Crop+Fish almost always have a Epic Version and fish+fish or crop+crop sometimes have epic version
Thanks for doing this Dakon! I was wondering when you would update your food buffs guide. They have added a crap ton of food and potions since you did this a year or so ago.
ya it just takes me some time to get it all done. I do all the recording and editing myself and I have a day job and a family, so sometimes it takes me awhile to get it all put together.

I often go with (all golden): Oat + Pepper = mobility/health and Carrock + Pewpaya = defense/offense(ranged) I see I gotta fish more, but if you're lazy these two combinations are very achievable in bulky quantities you can use in any combat. And save the many Potions for bosses.

There is also an automatic fishing mod as well to just make it AFK, helps massively but understandably is a little broken for obvious reasons
