So for those who don't know, aMSa is a Smash player notable for using a character who was written off as bad for like, 12 or 13 years, and he started beating really good players and performing really well in tournaments, and got a lot of people saying "maybe this character isn't that bad," but still nobody thought it would be enough to win an international tournament. That was the first time Yoshi ever won something that big and it's because aMSa dedicated years to practicing and studying. It was a watershed moment because aMSa was the only person who could do something like that and he pulled it off against the toughest competition in recent memory.
Beating Mang0 in general is impressive, to be Mang0 with Yoshi is unbelievable. aMSa solidified his spot in the top of Melee players in that singular moment

I think it will be fine. That stuff was so last year, I never see anyone bringing that up anymore. It helps now also that Maya has been very openly talking about her boyfriend and introduced him on an Alveus stream yesterday. That should hopefully help any remaining drama frogs move on lol.

THE ddr one was the least crazy of the gaming clips, i remember going to arcades as a kid and seeing people do this all day, but since its rare to see now its seen as "crazy" i cant do it i just think itsa not that impressive if you put some hours into it, like guitar hero. But i can see from a none gamers point of view how itd look crazy, since the other clips to maya were just w.e cause she dosn't get the context of them, but seeing someone move their legs around and being coordinated looks cool.
