I think they blocked out the name just for secrecy in case the files got leaked. Or it’s just a way for the player to insert themself into the story.

I got a theory, these creatures are actually everywhere in the world since if you check the dev channel, Light are off, you'll see one of his most iconic monster is the cat like creature with a long neck aka Smile cat is in the game and it's from Bloomorda which means that all the monsters in Light of off shorts are from Bloomorda and one trailer showed that these monsters are everywhere on earth and all of them are threats to humanity so The Keeper of Bloomorda are sending agents to these locations to find these entities and the hero of the game is one of them. This theory does make since a little bit but some of his short does feature creatures like a Giant Woody, Cookie monster on steroids, Kermit the frog on drugs, Olaf the snowman on crack and many goofy monster which completely ruin the theory but it's a fun theory
You are very true, plus I think he wanted some of his monsters he made to be part of a fun game because he wanted his own monster characters be in their own game and make a name for him self. I think that's fair

The game was very underwhelming and confusing, not to mention the issue of respawning after death. Aside from the gameplay, it’s a very interesting game, and I wanted to know more. The creatures are cool, but the ending kinda made me feel indifferent. All the tricky and confusing puzzles to just flip a switch at the end. The game feels a bit rushed.

Doubt you’ll read this but I have a game recommendation. It’s just something I’ve heard of, and idk if it’s horror related (more psychological horror?) I think it’s called “my child lebensborn” and I haven’t seen anyone cover the game yet. I just wanna know what happens in it but I don’t wanna watch the whole play through
