You really helped me with understanding Logic Pro. 15 years with ProTools and now I am FREE AT LAST.

I'm learning logic. Former pro tools user. Does Logic allow y to navigate using the makers?? In pro tools there is a convenient vertical list of all the markers and all one has to do is click on the one you want, and you are taken there. Is there something like that in Logic??

Logic does have the ability to add markers/locators!

@@loopcommunity I know but how can you quickly navigate from verse 1 to chorus 2 for example?

The sauce starts at 10:50 to show how you can drag and swap markers and all the instrumentation under them

Thanks for this! Question, How can I trigger markers in Logic Pro in sync with the tempo like ableton please?
My songs are structured in a logic project with markers set throughout the project to see the song structures and etc. But I can’t trigger them in time/tempo with a 4 beat count in for example like ableton does which is a little frustrating at time. Help please!

You can do this by automating the tempo of the session. Automate it so that the marker indicates the start of the new tempo, and precedes audio by four beats, and you'll be good to go!

@@loopcommunity Thanks for the reply, that's a great Idea! however, my concern is that midway through a song, if I trigger another section of the song for example, the bridge, it won't transition to that section while being locked to the song tempo in real time just like how Ableton does it or even Logic's Live Loop. I was wondering it there was a way around that please?
Side question, would it be too risky to use playback in Logic's Live Loop? just curious 😊

@@raikeyzofficial We'll have to do some more testing here to find the answers on that. We're less familiar with the playback side of Logic as we use Ableton primarily outside of the Prime app. Sorry we can't be more help in the meantime!

Any advise on dealing with lead/pickup notes? They seem to get cut off when you switch around sections

This was super helpful! I have a question: if you create arrangement markers on a project that includes a cues track, is there a way to rearrange the sections and have the cues go with the section the way it does in the Prime app? Or would you have to shift the cue track forward by one bar and make your arrangement changes, then shift it back by a bar so it cues everything ahead of the section as desired?

Hey Jameson, Of course with Primes Section Markers, this is done automatically when you rearrange your track in Prime. However when doing this manually with your stems in another DAW, you will need to trim your cues track One bar short of the start of the section so that you can move the appropriate cue with your instrumental stems for that section.

If there's some way to have the arrangement markers export to Prime, that would be SO great. I'm going to keep watching just in case that is actually a feature you're going to cover.

      Hey there,
Unfortunately there isn't a way to export arrangement markers from Logic into Prime. However, I can pass this along to our development team in hopes of implementation in a future update. Thanks for being a part of the community!

@@loopcommunity I was EVENTUALLY going to be part of this community. but, like many other musicians during this time, i was forced to take a little time off and learn this whole "new" way of making music. New to me anyway lol. I've purchased a few tracks but what I have REALLY enjoyed is being able to make my own tracks in the way that my church uniquely handles music. We love to get many different styles and just stick them in a blender since that is what our congregation and community look like. People have been quite generous and kind all around including the Loop Community folks. And so many cool products!! Take my money!! :)
