It's time to stop comparing ourselves to outside (east or west). We can be genuine Afrikan and be worthy of admiration. The first europeans that came to Afrika were impressed at how organized and safe it was. It's only after accepting their systems that we have become so low

@@vlaovicvlar479 sometimes comparing makes you chase someone else's standards of beauty.. these are the reasons for things like skin bleaching to look white.. it would be wise to build on what we had in the past (before colonization) rather than to act like we never had a history or civilizations

@@vlaovicvlar479 we don't need to harm our psyche in hopes to be something we are not or uphold others standards.. Afrikans are more than capable of having clean and efficient cities without having to imitate. And meanwhile these people want to copy everything we do but we don't see the value in our own things (from God to food to clothing to city planning and architecture). By the way did you know mud can last longer than concrete when proper techniques are used? (Hundreds of years) and can even be multiple stories tall. Many concrete buildings are already beginning to crack. We only see mud as an inferior building material because we don't take time to innovate with it

This statement is so dumb because all of Nigeria is so diverse and big it's not just one place

Please do some research on other less crowded cities in Nigeria like akwa ibom ,Abuja , PH and a lot more that are as developed and more peaceful than the crowded parts of Lagos Nigeria that you see all the time that makes you think all of Nigeria is like that

Apart from corruption,Nigerian leaders lack taste.Lagos is suppose to be the 5th richest economy in Africa yet cotonou is the one looking like the richer city.Cotonou makes nigerian cities from lagos to kano to onitsha and lbadan look like shanty town. While tinubu is flying around the world begging for investors to come to nigeria, investors are begging to relocate to Cotonou because they are building a clean and neat city.No investor in his or her right mind would see a city like cotonou and choose to set up shop in Nigeria.Nice video, thank you.

Nigerian government need to see this comment , it’s simply written but very powerful. TINUBU asking foreigners to invest while they are simple things to do to stabilize NIGERIA 🇳🇬 and investors will naturally come .
The biggest move for me is fight insecurity and reduce the rate of dollars , stabilize electricity ⚡️ and the rest we will gradually work on it by mapping out a plan how how to crap old cars on Nigerian road and clean up the country.

Stop comparing Afrika/Afrikan nations to any other foreign place, nation, country, nation, or continent!! Asante sana. It reeks of low self esteem! And europe of all places. This is unacceptable!

It's Far from European level and far from the most well built African cities ....why are you lying ? You only show the best place (airport to the port and fidjossé) but that represent 10% of the city 🤦🏿‍♂️ many place are Dirty cause unlike our parents (who had values) most people in Benin from the new generation are Dirty ! Unlike Kigali or Ghana who respect their environment. but Cotonou (and All Bénin) IS rising. I'm from Benin origin myself so i'm honest. Don't lie to the public it doesn't help! But Benin got great potential....beautiful landscape, rich culture, good food so yeah i'm proud of the develloping but it's just a start.

You are from Benin 🇧🇯 ? No you are not, you and I know the country you are from so come out clean and comment with your full chest . Saying Benin 🇧🇯 parents are dirty yet you claimed to be from the country. I have seen people talk down on their government but I not seen anyone one talk down on their parents unless they are mentally challenged. Bruh you guys can lie just to put a place down . No African country is 100 percent developed, almost all African cities that I visited are 10 to 15 percent developed, so what’s your point?
Why can’t you guys watch appreciation video of other countries that’s not yours? And if you are truly from Benin 🇧🇯 big shame on you for saying your parents are dirty .

It was no better to hide your hatred, fake Beninese and Africans. no country is 100% clean, even the USA. Moreover, many African countries do not even have 5% which are clean.
